Highly recommended
Garden is lovely and calm, area is relatively quiet, rooms are very clean. I give only four stars because the coffee served at breakfast is instant powder coffee rather than brewed. Really, that is my only negative thought. I worked around this by walking across the street to get a fresh brewed coffee.

Ideal setting near hubbub of Thamel. Great price for a lovely setting and wonderful service from an obliging staff. Try to get room on garden side. Housekeepers learned and adapted to our needs. Manager Ganesh was especially useful in arranging tours, etc., and driver Kanchen Lama was skilled at navigating Valley traffic. No AC but wasn’t needed in mid-October. It’s not a luxury property (you may want to provide your own big bar of soap) but it has unexpectedly nice decor. We came to feel very much at home.

Exceptional.
Another excellent stay at the International. I cannot fault the accommodation or staff. The hotel itself, its contents and gardens is truly magnificent. It has become my ‘go to’ hotel in Kathamandu. Comfort, style and reasonable prices. I like it. You will too.

This hotel is beautiful with nice decoration. I loved the garden sitting area. Rooms with garden view were nice. The location is great as it just five minutes walking distance from the bus stop. However the water in the bathroom was yellow, which scared me. And their staff should smile a bit more, especially the male staff. :-)

Le personnel de l'International guest house se plie en quatre pour votre confort et pour vous rendre service. Les chambre sont confortables et propres.
