Room conditions fair, friendly and helpful staff
The staff are friendly and helpful, but the toilet in our room is a bit smelly. Breakfast is fair. The conditions of the room is not as we expected, considering the relatively high rate and the nice photos shown on hotels.com. But to be fair, we came during the last days of perahera festival, so maybe the price is higher than normal.

Beautiful views and convienently located.
Beautiful resort, restaurant serves good food, and the staff does all that that can to make our stay a great one! Highly recommended.

Convenient, good service, good price
Great service and rooms for the price. I arrived late the night of my check in and the manager / owner? went out of his way to talk to my driver to help him find the hotel. The younger boys who work at the hotel were also nice and provided good service. Also, great views of the Kandy hills.

Nice villa up on the hill, clean room, even little bit difficult to get hot water but finally problem solved. Just don't understand why we can't have a dinner there, after came back from outside found there're 3 tables were eating there.

Beautiful oasis
Lovely homely family run hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. Fresh fruit and the best omelette of all our time in Sri Lanka. The only negative and it is minor is that there was no shampoo and conditioner and no facecloth.

Charming colonial style house, highly recommend
We enjoyed 3 nights at Kandy Hills. The service was great. They knew the best places to visit. Found us a driver for a good rate to take us to Arugam Bay for our next part of the journey. Large breakfast every morning. Clean, spacious and charming old colonial style house. Far enough away from the noise and chaos of Kandy city centre, but close enough to walk or jump on a tuktuk. Good value for money. The only small thing to possibly improve would be a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities which are useful if you're staying for a few nights, although the helpful staff were always on hand to make tea/coffee and bring cold water anyway. Would definitely recommend

Comfortable stay

Property is not worth the price
The rooms I had booked were not what I got. The day we arrived there were a lot of bugs on the reception level due to unexpected rains. Internet didn't work properly. We got attacked by monkeys twice while eating breakfast. After much discussion, the hotel staff agreed to charge us $30 less since the booked rooms were unavailable.

Good little place to stay
The hotel is older but nice. The beds were comfortable. We had the room off the common area and thought it may be noisy but it was actually pretty quiet. The staff are very friendly and nice. The breakfast on the patio was eggs, fruit, and tea or coffee - simple but good. The views and quiet on the patio were nice no matter the time of day. They serve other food besides breakfast but we didn't eat there so I can't comment on that. The free wifi was a welcome bonus. The hotel was a good choice as a base for our adventures. The only thing not mentioned anywhere is they charge 10% to pay by credit card when you check out. Overall, good little place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kandy Hills. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Gabriel who went out if his way to make our stay as perfect as possible. The location is very convenient

Very well priced option in Kandy
Considering the price this is a great option in the smart, suburban Kandy hills area. Quiet (except for the neighbourhood dogs), clean and not far from the lake.

Great view, good for taking a rest
When we arrived the room, it was a little bit disappointed. However, during 4 days' staying ,we got very satisfied the view from the room and terrace. The best thing you can experience in this hotel is having breakfast in front of great mountain view. It will be better to get your driver and car to move around the city. Accessibility from the city is not that good and always traffic heading to the city. There's no coffee port in each room but if you ask, they will provide hot pot and even tea. It was a small resort but perfect for our family to have a great time. 숙소 자체는 오래됐는데 경치가 좋고 조용해서 방에서 뒹굴거리면서 경치만 봐도 좋아요. 작고 오래됐지만 그만큼 정많고 삼삼한? 느낌이 좋았어요 저는 차를 빌려서 가서 도시로의 이동에 문제가 없었는데 아니면 매번 툭툭을 타셔야 할거예요.

Empfehlenswertes kleines Hotel in den Bergen von K
Freundliches hilfbereites Personal, guter Service, schönes Zimmer Insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt Hotel liegt aber etwas abseits an einem Hügel. Die Innenstadt von Kandy erreicht man zu Fuß in einer halben Stunde. Man kann schön am Kandy-See entlang spazieren!

Good value for money
We only stayed in the hotel for one night, as we mainly came to Kandy to visit for going to visit the elephant orphanage. The hotel is situated pretty high up on a hill, much higher than expected. Intended to walk to the hotel up the hill. But I would recommend to go there by tuk-tuk or car as the road is pretty narrow and not that well lit if you are going there in the evening / night. The hotel itself is rather simple, but the room was spacious and it was clean. Good sized bathroom as well. A big plus was that the windows could be opened to get som natural draft in the room. The room had otherwise both a ceiling fan and an AC. The breakfast that was included was pretty basic, but fresh fruit was served, bread, eggs and tea & coffee. The staff were helpful and service minded. The view from the hotel is also a keeper. For the price it is a good find.

Hyggelig hotell
Hyggelig godt, lite familiedrevet hotell ift. pris. Flott utsikt og enkel, god frokost (frukt, omelett, toast og marmelade ). Kort vei til Kandy med tuk-tuk. Vi bor gjerne på dette hotellet igjen.

a pleasant stay
It has nice view from the room and at the balcony. It is quiet and peaceful. The service is nice and staffs are helpful. Personally, I like this hotel quite a lot, initially i booked for 1 night then later i booked additional 2 nights for a pleasure stay. It is about 15 mins walk to the kandy lake and takes around 25 minutes to walk to the city centre. Walking down from the hotel is alright but returning is better to take local taxi.

Près de tout...mais calme
Nous avons passé 3 nuits au Kandy Hill resort et nous avons été très comfortables. De là, nous sommes allés à Sigurya et Dambulla. Au retour d'une longue journée nous étions si heureux d'être au calme et de pouvoir manger sur la terrace avec les soins attentifs de Gabriel chef et homme à tout faire. L'hôtel se trouve à 20 minutes à pied du lac et des attractions principales de Kandy.
