If you enjoy first class historic hotels, this is the place for you. Halfway between Washington DC and Pittsburgh, PA. I LOVE the Omni hotel chain. Three other amazing locations are Omni Mount Washington in Bretton Woods New Hampshire Omni Grove Park Inn located in Asheville, North Carolina, and the Omni William Penn in downtown Pittsburgh! The attention to historical detail in the resurrection of the hotel is verging on unbelievable. The staff seems to take pride in all that the hotel represents.

We stayed 1 night for my husbands birthday. The property was gorgeous and well maintained We had delicious drinks at the lobby bar, ate a fabulous dinner at the 1796 and listened to a gentleman sing and play guitar in the lobby. It was our first time to the property and we will definitely be going back. The room was spacious and clean. They left a giant cupcake in the room as a surprise for my husband's birthday. All of the team there made you feel very comfortable. We did have a spa treatment, when i booked i was informed that at the time of our trip the spa would be under renovation but services will still be available. I can't wait to go back to experience it all as our massage was very enjoyable.

Positives: The hotel was historic and beautifully decorated for Christmas including a giant gingerbread house that entertained my daughter every time we passed it. Loved the live music and fires in the lobby in the evening - it gave it a homey, Christmas feel. Staff was so friendly and welcoming to my whole family including my energetic 18 month old and 2 year old mini golden doodle. They upgraded us to a balcony room which was a lovely surprise. The bathroom was very large and it had a window so we were able to put my daughters pack and play in there at night. The pool was a huge hit with my toddler and visually stunning. We did a 2 mile hike and found it to be well marked and a great little escape into nature even in December. Negatives: The food was hit or miss at both the tavern and Crystal room. Service was great at both but the quality of food/preparation was disappointing for the price. Specifically the tuna tartare and chicken wings were nearly inedible. Our steak was tasty, but not cooked as requested (we just ate it since we had a toddler nearing bedtime). All other food was perfectly fine. Loved the kids meal options such as salmon. The cocktails were pricey and took awhile to arrive, but well made. The pet fee of $150 for just one night was very expensive. I called and requested a pack and play ahead of time, but there wasn’t one in the room when we arrived, luckily we had one in our car and ended up just using that.

Christmas Getaway
We always look forward to our annual escape to the Omni Bedford Springs. A perfect place to unwind during the hectic holiday season. A true luxury resort that is also comfortable and casual. The staff are all so kind and welcoming and there are great options for dining throughout the resort. What makes it extra special is that the resort is dog friendly.

Don’t risk considering any other place!
Drove out to this region to visit the Flight 93 National Memorial and stayed here for one night. What a beautiful, romantic, classy, resort! My girlfriend was equally impressed and we both agreed that we will be coming back to plan a long weekend to thoroughly enjoy everything this resort and area has to offer. I must say, “I’m not easily impressed and this place definitely exceeded my expectations!”

This resort cost extremely too much for one night. After booking, in one day the price went down and no Guarantee pricing was given. Will never us Hotels.com or this resort again. Very disappointed, no morning coffee offered anymore. For the price I paid for the night of $704.00, I should have been given a Danish too.
