"This property is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and luxurious places I have stayed in. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The grounds are like the garden of Eden. We ate most of our meals on site and the food was very tasty and there was nightly entertainment. The facility is located on Jimbaran Bay, so each evening there is a beautiful sunset. We stayed here twice for three nights, ten days apart. The first stay it was windy and you couldn’t use the beach because of the trash washing up on shore despite a crew cleaning up. The second stay there was minimal wind and the bay and beach were pristine."

"Great resort , I was unhappy with a hotel I booked in Ulluwatu, and changed to Royal Tulip. You are treated like Royalty, stunning resort, beautiful rooms, linen high grade. Beautiful buffet breakfast, high level of security , very very large rooms. Was upgraded when I arrived to pool access room. Yes location is not central, like you can just walk out the door to restaurants, you need a taxi or bike. But ! To be honest it was worth, resort is huge, it opened my eyes to choosing a high quality resort further away. 30 mins Drive to Single fin Ullawatu , maybe 10-15 mins to Jimbarin beach Such value for money ! I will be back, so safe , so beautiful, staff are exceptional "

"Fantastic stay at this rustic, cliff-top resort. Staff were exceptional with frequent check in to ensure we were having a good stay. The View restaurant is perched atop the cliff face and forges panoramic views of Kuta and the Indian Ocean. Food, drinks and service all great. I’d booked a forest room with dipping pool, but was upgraded on arrival to ocean view bungalow (no.22) with infinity pool. The room is rustic and a little basic, but that’s the charm. Bed is comfortable and bathroom big. The first night was very windy and wet - heavy storm - with some water leaking into the room, but nothing bad. The resort is nice, has a selection of pools, poolside bar and plenty of places to lounge. There’s also a private beach. Overall, great stay with exceptional service. Loved the private infinity pool! "

"This place is filled with Balinese character, the decor is fantastic and there is an impressive bonsai tree collection on the perfectly manicured grounds. The pool is beautiful too. There's direct access to the beach, where it's white sands and plenty of sun loungers were available when I was there. You can see daily local life pass by which was nice. It seems like the hotel is generally past its 'hey day' and it's a little bit dated but everything was working ok and clean. The room was spacious, with an ornate front door and I had a lovely terrace. You could almost hear the waves from the terrace. Subject to availability you can stay past check out for 100k IR per hour. The only thing I didn't love about the hotel was that receptionist kept reminding me that I owed them money for a late check out even when we had agreed at check in that I would pay on check out. Excellent choice if you want to avoid a trafficked route to the airport (~10 mins on a Sat at 4pm)."
