Good overall service - from airport pick up to check in (upgrade), b'fast service to airport drop off. Room/overall hotel slightly dated but service was to a good standard. Cleanliness was not an issue/concern - good standard. Would recommend the rooftop BBQ.

Great stay! Staff were so friendly and accommodating to meet all my needs. On-site dining was great during Ramadan. Housekeeping checked on me daily and cleaned room with precision.

Did not get services as per expectations and the price charged for per night CAD 175/night don't worth it. AC was not working, room and toilets not in good condition complained to room service they sent tech to fix AC but did not able fix AC room was hot. After around 7 hours they changed room.

Recommending the Ramada
The executive floor (3rd) is the preferred floor. The 2nd floor needs to be renovated. The restaurants are very nice. The rooftop restaurant is exceptional!

I had a pleasant stay for the price I paid. The hotel is what they showcased on the expedia. The room was clean and comfy, the overall hotel vibe was good, the breakfast was good, except the tea. The health club pool and spa is good. The massage service was okay. It was sort of rude to charge more than 50% of room rate as deposit and to actually deduct it from the credit card rather than hold the amount. It was not nice at all when they were not able to hand out the deposit paid in cash upon checkout as they had promised. Instead they said they will pay it through bank transfer in few days (not professional).

When we arrived having paid online the desk clerk insisted that we had not paid. He showed me a printed reservation which clearly stated we had prepaid he did not agree prepaid meant we had already paid. He insisted I use my credit card to pay again this was even after I showed him my ban k statement showing the money had been taken. Once we got past that hurdle he then said the booking was for 2 people. I showed him my booking which again showed 2 rooms and 2 adults in each. He has asked us to sit and sit wait and offered us some tea which never arrived 10 minutes later he called us back and gave us our room cards. We checked the rooms and 1 room was a twin room not a double as booked and paid for. In the morning when I took up the payment issue with the another desk clerk he agreed that we had paid and should not have been asked to make a security payment with a credit card. A shambles

Overall Satisfied
We had a really amazing stay at Ramada in Islamabad. The staff is really friendly, the rooms look tip top. I also really like the location of the hotel and I must appreciate the quality of the breakfast. The only things concerning are the dirty carpets in the looby and common areas, brings down the impression of the place. The other thing that really bothered my was the parking situation, guests should be allowed to park inside.

Better than the Marriott!
While I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada, my only concern was that the shower door was broken and that breakfast ended far to early. The other irritating factor was that they are not able to provide you with multiple room keys. If you loose one, it’s a significantly bigger deal than I’ve ever encountered. Outside of those small issues, I enjoyed the Ramada significantly more so than the Marriott! 9/10 - would recommend!

At the time of check-in, I specifically asked that I may be giveroom with a better room. There was a misstatement on part of hotel staff when they told me that all rooms are the same and then I was given an inside room. Later I came to know that there are rooms with better views. The hotel lobby was really a noisy place. Especially at second night, there was a lot of noise since an electronic door had not been properly locked. The situation was rectified only after my complaint. However, again early in the morning, my sleep was disturbed because of the same noise. While they were fixing it, the electricity supply was disconnected number of times and each time all lights in my room were turned on. This disturbed me a lot.

We are enjoying our stay at Ramada. The services overall are very good. Breakfast buffet is really delicious and the pizza made by their cooks is so yummy. Room is comfortable. I requested for a refund due to an exceptional case ( Pakistan closed its airspace and ThaiAirways cancelled my flight ) but they refused. They should be more flexible and not harp on they fixed policies. I think being a 5 star hotel is not only about services but also about flexible policies for genuine cases. Disappointing.
