The approach to the hotel is painful especially in the evening, due to heavy traffic. The check in was fine and the rooms though tiny, are comfortable. The shocking part was the food. Since the buffet was kept 'dhaba' style in large 'not so clean' pots, and the food also did not look too appetising, I settled for Hot & Sour Soup and Buddha Bowl (rice with chinese greens was the promise). It took a really very long time to be served. My colleagues who came 10 minutes late for dinner ordered Indian food and it was served before mine. When the soup arrived, it turned out to be Maggi soup ready mixed in hot water. The manager confirmed it too. Just imagine instant ready mix soup served in Holiday Inn.
The Buddha Bowl turned out to be rice bowl topped with oily spicy fried vegetables. That too with Indian spices. A better description would have been Dhaba style vegetables with tadka served with rice! It tasted terrible and gave me a sleepless night.
Next morning the story repeated itself when I ordered Upma. Again they served Upma made from instant mix stirred with hot water. And confirmed it too.
I am never staying at this place again.
