The rooms were small and the toilet ran all night but know that it is a beautiful place. The staff was kind and the lobby was gorgeous.

I chose this hotel for the location and price and it fit the bill perfectly. Positives: Easy check-in and staff on hand to assist. The rooms are small but suited my needs. I had a fridge and microwave which although I didn’t use much, was good to have when I did bring food back. Clean rooms and housekeeping available daily if requested. Great lobby which I sat at frequently to grab a coffee and watch the world go by. Free tea, coffee and water which kept me well hydrated. Negatives: The bathroom does need updating - the shower curtain doesn’t contain the water, so you end up getting the floor wet, even if you try to position to shower head towards the wall. No liquid shower gel or liquid hand soap, and only bars of soap provided which I found strange. Not exclusive to this hotel but the area has a lot of homeless people hanging around. Whilst most are friendly, some are aggressive and walking outside after dark as a solo female traveller isn’t advised as a result. Despite the above, I would stay at this hotel again as it served its purpose as a good Downtown base.

Obviously it was once a very fancy hotel but could definitely use some renovations. Needs new paint, carpet, and such. The toilet in my room ran constantly. No fridge or safe in the room. Area around the hotel can be sketchy. Staff at the hotel were fantastic and the restaurant was really good.

It was low key. The staff, especially Tay, Brennen, and Jesus were exceptional. Comfortable bed. Clean city. Loved having free coffee in the lobby, and a water station right outside our room.

My partner and I decided to give this place one last try… Our first time we stayed the elevator stopped for quite done time. We pressed the emergency button (no one came). fortunately, after about 10 minutes, the elevator doors opened. However, it was not on our floor so we had to walk up the stairs the rest of the way. Also, the AC in the room was not working well at all… Our stay, the toilet in the restroom was making really weird noises right after flushing. This would go on for several minutes, while also, noticing this, there was someone’s old, dirty bra left behind. The next inconvenience was the TV was not working whatsoever. Lastly the outlets in the room except for one we’re not working at all… soon after this, my partner and I called room service to tell them what was going on. 30 minutes went by and we called a second time. We waited for about 15 minutes then decided that we needed to go downstairs and talk with someone in person…

I loved the convenience of an excellent in-house restaurant that also catered to the general public. We got the “budget” room option, and it was almost two small for two people to navigate! Excellent coffee machine serving up lattes in the lobby, but they ran out of right-sized cups so it was a hassle on the second and third days of our trip. On balance, a good stay.

TV did not work even after maintenance helped. Area I’d hope would be better. There was homeless people begging outside hotel that bothered my group several times. I am almost 70 yrs old and felt unsafe.

Room was a bit small, but overall this place is handsome and comfortable. Well worth the money spent. Hospitality was awesome and friendly. Bed is super comfortable. Can’t wait to book a room here next time as I will be coming back.

I felt like I was scammed. Everything online looked fabulous. The lobby looks wonderful in-person however, the rest of the images online are not accurate. The room had a musty smell, it was not up-to-date and felt unclean. The images online did not even come close to comparing to what it was in-person. I will never stay at a club quarters hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone either.

Cable or satellite television did not work. It took 2 days to fix it. They screwed up the check in and gave the wrong rooms to the wrong people. I did like the way the complimentary water system worked.

Kind of a weird setup. Very little staff interaction, and tiny rooms but cozy, safe, and with many walkable spots around. The parking garage is crazy.

Stayed overnight. Excellent hotel, staff was friendly. Valet was good. The attached restaurant had some nice food as well, reasonably priced. Got a basic king bedroom, spacious and the bathroom was clean, decent water pressure too.

The hotel has a very good valet and super helpful concierge. Very nice and comfortable rooms and nice gym. I had a tasty breakfast and walked to the Court House, which is a 15-minute walk. I will definitely visit the hotel again when I have hearings in Harris County.
