We arrived early and tried to check in but the room was not ready which was understandable so we went to town and killed an hour. When I returned at 4pm, the room was still not ready. Rick at the front desk was nice and sent someone to check. He brought me the keys after about 20 minutes. We went to the pub restaurant in the hotel where they were making popcorn and thought that will be delicious while we wait for food. A server came over and made a cup of popcorn then proceeded to eat it. I guess it is self serve which was posted no where. I was served cold fries and prime rib Philly that was lacking in seasoning. My husband’s sandwich did not come with sauce making for a pretty bland meal. So far, not impressed and I have been here 2 hours.

We enjoyed the indoor pool and arcade! We checked in after 5pm and our room was not ready, went to the canyon for 2 hours and came back the room was not cleaned at all, housekeeping went home! Had to change rooms, and be separated from family!

Over priced menu with low food quality and unfriendly restaurant staff. Prices were high than eating at El Tovar inside the park. Several items on the menu were unavailable. Better off going to McDonald’s across the street for better quality and service for a fraction of the cost. Room had no soap and none was delivered until the next morning despite calling multiple times and going to front desk. The property itself was nice and the standard room was large and clean.

That is feedback I can pass on to the restaurant and kitchen. I have to apologize for the slow return service with the soap amenity. I am not sure what happened, but I agree. I had a reservation for 5 people and received a room with 2 queen beds and no couch or pull out bed. I called down to inquire about the situation and was told that a king and queen room would have a pull out couch but not a double queen. I asked why were we put into a room that sleeps 4 when we have 5 and he had no answer. He said i could pay an extra $35 for a roll away bed. I asked why this wasn't told to me when i reserved the room and he had an attitude and said he could just charge me for the roll away bed and didn't attempt to help the situation. The toilet was also broken. Not a great intro to what seemed like a good place to stay. Nothing positive has happened so far. Waited more than an hour for a pizza and chicken tenders in the pub as well.

Ridiculous resort fee. To use the pool, arcade, and the bowling alley. Guess what? They also charge you a high price per a game in arcade. And also charge you to go bowling. Total rip off. Also, the walls in the hotel are paper thin. You will hear EVERYTHING happening in your neighbors room. Yuck!!!!

Like the room size and the resort amenities. Did not like the restaurant services. Many people working at the restaurant and can be utilized properly. Extremely slow service from standing in line to getting a table, to someone attending or coming to take order.

WATCH YOUR ACCOUNT! We were suppose to be charged $50.00 deposit for each room, we were charged $204.21 per room. 45 minutes on hold and three days later we were giving one 204.21 deposit back and they short us on the second deposit, saying the shortage was for the amenities! The only amenities we used was the POOL? When did this become an EXTRA CHARGE SERIOUSLY? So watch your account this hotel likes to add SURPRISE CHARGES and they DO NOT EVEN GIVE YOU A WARNING ABOUT THEM! When searching for a hotel the pool was advertised and included. Sad part is THEY ADMIT to the OVER CHARGE but they have excuses for keeping the money! Please watch your account!! They made our vacation a very stressful and aggravating one.

Great hotel near the Grand Canyon! Our rooms were clean and made daily. We checked in at 1am due to our flight and the front desk greeted us and were able to help us with all the questions I had. The lobby has some of the best coffee in the area and the gift shop has some pretty good prices too! There’s a lot of amenities on the property. Definitely come back to this hotel if I’m visiting the area.

Didn’t make it up to the hotel, as there was a weather advisory for two days advising not to travel due to poor road conditions, blowing snow and accumulations of snow; also some roads were closed in the Grand Canyon Park which was our destination. The hotel staff that we spoke with were extremely rude and mocking our hesitation to travel. They kept our $675.00 cdn. that covered the three rooms that we had rented and could not use….You are warned!!!!

Spring weather is variable in northern Arizona and we are sorry you were not able to to make the drive. We got a great price through Expedia! After booking the room I noticed it stated I had a 20 dollar credit through Expedia. Honestly, I thought they would not honor it. But during my very pleasant check in I was told that I had a gift through Expedia. He handed me a paper worth 20 dollars to use at one of the restaurants. We used it at the Canyon Room The waitress said, “Oh I see you have a 20 dollar credit I will take that and put it towards your bill” The hotel is very nice! It it updated nicely and has two restaurants plus another one for Breakfast. How wonderful to go down the hall to The Canyon Room after a long day and it was so nice. We had great service and our food was excellent. The second restaurant is more casual We went there our second night The food and service was also great. This resort has a game room and a bowling alley in it! I would definitely recommend this property. I book through Expedia because I trust them. I thank this hotel for recognizing my Expedia status and honoring the gift from Expedia and giving me the nice room I booked.

Our food was 2 hours late, it came cold and the buns were soggy. My hamburger was burnt and the philly steak for my husband was cold. This was in the pub near the bowling.

By far the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The front desk was helpful and welcoming. The amenities are incredible. They gave us a $20 off coupon for dinner at the restaurant located in the hotel which had delicious steak dinner. Indoor and outdoor pool were extremely clean and heated. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. The hotel and the rooms smell clean and ecofriendly!! Fresh and relaxing! Gift shop, two restaurants, pools, spa, arcade, bowling alley all in the hotel. It was an AMAZING experience. I wish we could stay longer. The hotel is extremely clean. Very helpful and informative. Welcoming on all levels. A newspaper as a welcome item in the room with waters and coffee. Cannot say enough great things about this hotel. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in our lives! 12/10

The resort is better than the picture. The lobby must be renovated, looks new and culural spiritual. The environment is good. We love tne indoor and outdoor pool. And also the starbucks at lobby.

There were maintenance issues in our room - the toilet ring was loose and difficult to use as it moved around, there was no shower curtain so water went all over the room and the biggest issue was the shower mechanism itself. It would not stay where it set and would fall out and spray the room. I used dental floss to tie it in place so that you could take a shower.

This was an awesome stay this week! We drove in for the Grand Canyon and Squire was perfectly located for us. It allowed for easy park access. The staff were great and the rooms were clean. Lots of things that were great for families traveling- they even reset the kids stuffed animals and blankets when they cleaned the room- so cute! We did not eat onsite so can’t speak to the restaurants. The only thing that was a little underwhelming was the arcade area. Could use a little refreshing. S’mores at night and awesome pool areas. Everything was so clean and nice. Definitely recommend if you are traveling with kids.

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting the Grand Canyon. My kids loved the indoor pool with a movie and smores every evening as well. Great place for a family with lots to do if the weather isn’t ideal for outdoor activities.

The hotel is close to the grand canyon entrance - less than 10 min drive. It has a nice indoor and outdoor pool and also hot tubs. Gym was handy and had decent modern equipment. Restaurants were average. Service was good at this hotel.
