Hello, We are delighted to hear you enjoyed the location of the property, I am sorry you did not think there was enough provisions for 4 days, we do leave a starter pack of basics for arrival, but as the apartment is self catering, once these have run out, you do need to replenish them yourself. Hello, I am sorry to hear this, we do try and ensure we advertise clearly check in and check out times and where the apartments are in relation to our office, that information was available to you prior to booking so I am sorry this was disappointing to you on your arrival. Our office is within a five minute walk from all of our apartments so I am very surprised to hear you have needed many taxis to complete this journey. To my knowledge there is usually a fee for a late check out, especially in 5* hotels. We are sorry to hear you will not return to us. Kind regards

Hello, I am sorry a communal problem in the block was outwith our direct control to fix for you. As soon as we were aware of the issue, we did immediately contact all the relevant parties and try to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible, please be assured if we could have rectified this problem ourselves for you, we certainly would have. This problem did effect the whole area and was not just our apartment. Therefore not possible for us to rectify this for yourself. I am sorry you had to re-boot the router for the wifi, unfortunately this also sometimes occurs and we do not mean for this to be a major inconvenience to our guests. The microwave is in the kitchen, I am sorry you did not see this, if you had called into our office, we certainly would have pointed you in the right direction. We do not supply laundry detergent, as this for many people is a very personal preference due to skin sensitivities and such and therefore very difficult to get right for every guest. As the apartment is self catered, this is usually purchased by guests themselves. In our apartments there is a black folder often on the coffee table or beside the TV that covers everything you need to know about the apartment, I am sorry you did not find this in your apartment.

This modern development is designed with floor to ceiling windows across the estate and is very popular with some for this modern design. If you are returning to Edinburgh, we would love to welcome you back and perhaps recommend some of our other properties which are more traditional.

Hi Simon, Glad you enjoyed our apartment and found everything you needed. Please notice that we already outlined the check-in and check-out times to you prior to booking but we do indeed offer the opportunity to extend your stay an extra few hours if you want. We also offered you the option to store your luggage with us free of charge if you preferred. We do not feel it is 'cheeky' to ask for a small fee of you want to extend your departure until later in the day, almost every accommodation provider does this. Please be assured that you did receive a very good price for an apartment in this area of town. We are glad these minor gripes did not impact your overall stay and that you enjoyed staying with us in Edinburgh.

Thank you for your comments, it is disappointing for us to hear you feel the apartment was not as you expected. I am unable to check the details of your call to our office as your review is anonymous. We do have a number of apartments in the Quartermile area and the pictures online are representative of all those apartments. Unfortunately is it simply not possible for all the apartments in this development to face the Meadows. The area is popular with students as it is located right next to Edinburgh University. I am glad to hear our housekeeping team attended promptly to deal with the issues you reported and I hope if you are returning to Edinburgh you will stay with us again, we do also have other locations.
