Great location to visit Expo with metro station right outside. Staff helpful and room modern. But building works next door all day from 7am spoilt our visit so maybe avoid this location till next door is built!

As 3-Stars as it gets
For Expo 2020, you can't do much better than this. The Metro station is right outside, one stop away from the Expo, but if you want to go into the city, it's a longer ride. With the Expo ending, I would only recommend this hotel if you're doing business in the Investment Park or just want a cheap hotel, (though there are reasonable places closer to the city as well). The staff were extremely polite and treated me like a VIP, though they seemed somewhat inexperienced. I'm not sure how old this hotel is, but a little renovation work wouldn't hurt. It's minor things, like cracks in the molding and flickering lights that need replacing. The business center also had no ink or paper in its printer. Better ventilation for the smoking rooms is a must, as the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke, thankfully my room did not. My room was overall clean, large and comfortable. The breakfast was decent, a mix of Western, Indian and Arabian (so no pork bacon). There is also a dive bar and restaurant on site but it seemed to be always full of loud, drunk, smoking guests and their friends. Nevertheless the food was decent and was one of the only places nearby you could get an alcoholic beverage. If you didn't get dinner elsewhere before turning in, its certainly not the worst option. Overall, a mixed bag, with the proximity to the Expo being a major selling point, which is soon to be moot.

We had a great stay. The room was clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. The only thing that cought me off guard was the fee they took as soon as I went to check in. Because it was not mentioned online.

More road and building work than on the M6 in UK
we stayed in this hotel last year and it was good It has gone downhill since then. I would not stay here again and would recommend no one else to stay.There are building works going on all around the hotel, and there is dust everywhere we went up to the pool on 2 days at around 9.30am. the notice on the pool door stated open every day from 8.00am but on both days it was locked. A total lack of service seems to be the order of the day. the rooms are very tired and need some work to bring them back to standard. I could see why the hotel seemed very empty. We chose this hotel to be near to family that live in Dubai but we will nt be returning to this hotel

It was good but had 2 breakfasts, and they would not let me bring a guest for breakfast. They said they would have to register the guest to my room.

I will take my business somewhere else
This was my second stay, and the reason I came back was I had such a great experience on my first trip, but man was I in for a rude awakening on my second trip. The .Moroccan and Egyptian staff in the front desk were rude, very condescending, arguing with customers and not explaining things better. It was unfortunate coz the Indian and Filipino staff were so courteous. I will never stay there again.

4star hotel with 5star service
Overall I really enjoyed my stay in Fortune, the only hassle I had was getting there, there is some construction going on in front of the hotel so for some reason Google maps was re routing me somewhere else...anyway...the hotel was pristine clean...staff were extremely professional and very courteous...i definitely recommend anybody to check in there and I am sure I will go back next time I'm in town....

Very noisy
The receptionist put me in a smoking room while I asked for non smoking and he said that he can spray air freshener but the smoke smell was unbearable. Very noisy due to kids playing and screaming during evening and night and construction noise from outside therefore you won’t have a good night sleep. They do not replenish the toiletries.

Regarding to the issues raised I would like to brief you as below: 1. Non Smoking Room: Please note that we have the complete 2nd Floor of the Hotel as Non Smoking floor and we have 38 rooms as Non Smoking rooms. In your case I am sure we would not have the rooms available at the time of your booking and in many case when we do have non smoking rooms available we certainly will provide for our guests. Such issues only happen when the hotel is completely sold out / fully booked. Kids: Yes since we are a family Hotel besides being a corporate Hotel, we do have families coming over from the GCC counties and children sometimes run amok in-spite of their parent's presence, but we make sure that in such cases the parents are informed about their children making a noise or rarely we find our ways to be a bit stricter with the children who make a ruckus. Sorry about that.... Construction Noise: Yes we do have the mega underground metro project a little ahead of the hotel and though the distance is approximately 50-70 meters away from the site, there are time when the noise is causing some amount of disturbances, but as a Hotel we really cannot stop the Government Project that is taking its full shape very soon and once completed the very spot will be a big plus point for all our guests. Replenish the toiletries: I shall have a check on the above as I would not like to believe, as the housekeeping department does this on a daily basis without fail in all our occupied rooms.. but I shall check as to who the boy was on that floor and why this was not done. Apologies. I appreciate your concerns and have taken this matter up with the Head of Departments to address the issues and making sure.Yashwant

It is a very bad hotel
The location is very bad far from everything. Breakfast was poor .The Manager was so rude. He didn't care for customers complaints. He ignored our complaint about noises, he refused to change our stay although the hotel has 6 other branches in Dubai. I don't advise it to others

Overall, i was very disappointed.
I can't say my stay was amazing as I had issues with the reception staff, not very friendly and had restriction on the number of devices to be connected to wifi, very disappointing I must say. the location is just way off and quite expensive to book airport shuttle.

I do not recomend this hotel. I had some issues.
I had to change the room due to a terrible smell Second I had to pay an extra charge at the last moment. They said it was a new tax. They could not explain the tax and did not give me the adecuate recipe for the "tax"

The location was about 15 minutes from JBR, which was exactly what I wanted. The hotel is new and very nice. Clean room. Nice bed. The only downfall was that the bathtub would not stay full. The seal leaked water constantly. I was hoping for a long hot bath but it didn't happen.

Sauberes gepflegtes Hotel. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Direkt neben der Metro. Zimmer war sehr geräumig und gepflegt. Safe war nicht verankert. Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig.

bon hotel de banlieue calme
hotel moderne et confortable. Construit dans une zone de résidences et bureaux, il est assez loin de la ville et il n'est pas possible d'y loger sans avoir une voiture ou utiliser les taxis. Bar très sympa et grande piscine. Par contre elle manque d'ombre, le seul parasol présent était inutilisable. Chambre propre, spacieuse et bonne literie, un sèche cheveux dans la salle de bains aurait été bienvenu.

Dejligt fint super morgenmad
Super fint mega venlige og hjælpsom personale sjældent så god service skal man lede længe efter..... Bestil morgenmad det er super lækkert meget lokal mad og en ny ting næsten hver dag Lidt ærgerligt med byggerier lige ved siden af hotellet men sådan er det jo i Dubai Og ombygning til Expo 2020 .

Good hotel, but the construction works
It is a good hotel, very nice and the room is new and large. There are some construction works outside the hotel because of the new metro line, this is the only negative thing.

De kwaliteit is in enkele maanden verslechterd, was hier drie maanden eerder. Toen was de rookvrije hotelkamer ook rookvrij. Nu niet. Kennelijk neemt men het niet zo nauw met de regels. Verder is het sanitair onderhevig aan zware kalkaanslag, afbladderend chrome en de verwarming (via de airco) werkt niet. Roomservice is prima, 24/7 beschikbaar en het eten is zonder meer prima. Dat maakt veel goed. Ook zijn de kamers verder wel netjes, maar tamelijk gedateerd.
