The kiddos found a coconut on one of our adventures and brought it back to the hotel wanting to crack it open - turns out the landscaping team not only obliged but they even brought a brand new fresh coconut guessing the kids didn’t get a fresh pick. Turns out they were right and the replacement coconut turned out better than the original and the kids got to check another thing off their bucket list - drink from a fresh coconut! We ended our stay with a snorkel swim with a green sea turtle which was one of MY bucket list items! The Fairmont Orchid really lives up to the positive reviews and next time we plan a trip to the Big Island, the Orchid will be top of the list."
