Quite a despicable experience I must say. Here are a few problems that I faced during my stay: -
1. The hotel staff was very cold and not welcoming at all. They were also borderline rude. I had requested for a late checkout the day before, and the staff told me that 1 pm is the latest they could do. I accepted the time but the on the day of the checkout, I got calls every 15 min from the staff asking me to checkout as soon as possible. Upon confronting them about the earlier 1 pm checkout, the staff was very passive aggressive and rude.
2. The rooms ergonomics and layouts don’t make sense. Lack of plug points was a major pet peeve. The plug points are under the table quite far from the bed which is so stupid.
3. No plug points in the bathroom for the blow dryer. You have to use the hair dryer in your room which doesn’t have any mirrors. It doesn’t make sense at all!
4. Lack of drainage in the washroom. All the water, if it were to overflow from the tub, seeps into the bedroom because of the gap underneath the washroom door.
5. The hotel TV has IP channels. There are no HDMI slots in the TV. Minor issue, but issue nonetheless.
5. I recommend that you don’t take the breakfast, high tea and cocktail combo package. The selection is quite pathetic and not the worth the experience at all.
Overall, it was quite a disappointment experience especially the hotel staff behaviour. That’s pretty much a clincher which sealed the deal. I will not recommend this hotel.
