The Claridges Nabha Residence is located in a quaint ledge of the mountains near Mussoorie. You can get a nice view of the peaks above and, partly, of the cliff below. The property itself is beautiful but it is evident that it has seen better days. You can see broken vases and plant pots in places and some of the common areas could use some renovation. Even so, it does exhude a cozy charm that stems from its turn-of-the-century architecture and quiet bliss, away from the main city. The staff are courteous and friendly, although it is apparent they have not been fully trained in customer service, particularly when dealing with complaints, in stark contrast to The Claridges' property in Delhi. The food is good, in particular the breakfast. The hotel has a fitness area, but it only has cardio machines. The rooms are in very good condition and are by far the best feature of the hotel. The bed is cozy and has a vast arrangement of pillows to choose from. I stayed in a duplex and the beds above were every bit as comfortable as the ones in the ground level. My only complaint would be the faded towels in the bathroom which could be swapped for new ones. Transport was the main shortcoming of the hotel. The hotel does not have its own cars and the manager's recommended drivers charge you extra 500 rupees for AC, which is something they do not tell you up front. This made for an uncomfortable experience, which tarnished what was otherwise a wonderful, quiet retreat from busy Delhi.

Nice staff but poorly maintained property
The checkin was okay. But hotel is bit old and required maintenance. We had to call maintenance to fix toilet and door issues. And then again there was no hot water for 1 day and had to call more than 10 times before it was fixed.the TV was not working and then we had to call them to fix it. In the play area, the Xbox was not working. In short, we had to call and gets fixed every time we wanted to try things out there. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent the first morning. But the second morning, it was quite opposite. Chicken sausages was horrible the seconds day. My whole family had indigestion and vomiting. They really need to take care of these things considering it’s a 4 star property. Though one things good there was their staff. All of them were very courteous and helpful. They tried to solve all issues with smile.

The rooms facing the courtyard or forest are the nicer ones, while the ones inside are a little grim. Although we had a forest facing room, it was in the way back, where there was no signal on cellphones. Wifi was spotty and kept cutting off. The safe in the room was locked on arrival and was not opened even after asking. The staff are all very friendly and helpful

Property is good & give you feel to be staying close to nature, certain customised services & complimentary pick up & drop makes it easier to explore things outside property as well, however the services are not upto the mark as you expect at a 4 star hotel, for eg staff doesn’t greet you often when they meet/see you, pest control & cleaniliness around forest facing rooms is not good, amenities in room are not much & you have to request for toiletries to be replenished, food options at breakfast & restaurant were limited. I found Rooms which are not forest facing to be noisy & impacting your privacy as seats just next to large window of your room is considered common area & anyone is allowed to sit there. However the forest facing rooms, greenery around property, play area & Victorian decor makes it up for lots of misses this property has. Staff needs to be trained/groomed as per a 4 star hotel standards.

Beautiful Location
Claridges Nabha is a beautiful property amongst the hills, away from the Main Street. The service at the property is top quality. The staff is friendly. We were very happy with our stay.

Excellent and marvellous stay!!
It is a very well located hotel amidst quiet peaceful forest area away from hustle and bustle of the mall area. The best highlight of this hotel was the location , amazing and courteous staff who make u feel like royalty and superb breakfast. The rooms were big clean and comfortable with branded toiletries. It is a heritage hotel and exhilarates royalty at every step. The best thing is the complimentary shuttle service this hotel provides to and fro to the Mall Road. In every way we made the right decision by selecting this hotel.

Outstanding Hotel
Away from the bustle of the city and tucked in lush forests, this is an amazing property. We used the breakfast + dinner inclusive option. Very nice recreation room with ping-pong, carom and other facilities. Very nice place to spend time with family. Service is excellent. An important note however, is that the property is not handicap accessible.

Excellent though expensive
Set in idyllic and pastoral surroundings, it is a relief from the chaos and hassles of Mussoorie. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. With only twenty or so rooms, it is homely and without the busy ambience of a big hotel. On the down side are the rather expensive meals, if you order a la carte. Breakfast is sumptuous and has plenty of choice. It comes with the room tariff. It is better to take a full package, if you are planning to have most of your meals at the hotel. Staff is very courteous and cooperative.

We stayed for on Night, post New Year in the Claridges Nabha Residence, the whole experience is very good, the property is well maintained. Although there were not much rooms booked but we enjoyed a lot. Good Rooms with all amenities, Good air conditioning on chilly winters. Good Play room for Kids.

unorganised hotel
It was very disappointing as I tried to check in. When I tried to check in the hotel manager at the front desk told me that he did not receive my reservation when I made my reservation a month before my travel. We booked a large room for 4 of us to stay and he ended up giving us 2 rooms somewhere underground in which the room was very old and somewhat unorganised. And what was funny was that the hotel manager kept telling us to go into the those 2 rooms before my reservation was even confirmed. Then after 30 minutes he told me that he found my reservation. So at the end, my reservation was actually made. So at the end, I did not get the room which I reserved because those rooms were all booked by others who booked after me. That made me really angry and made our trip terrible. I still cannot understand that the hotel did not receive my reservation via expedia on time. Or I somewhat believe that the hotel manager actually lied to us and given the room I reserved to others. I don't exactly know but that experience was terrible.

Nice hotel with best location
We stayed with our friends and enjoyed our stay at the Claridges Nabha Residence. The beautiful landscaping that surrounded the property is breathtaking. The location of this property is perfect, 2-3 Km before the Mall Road. The room, dining area and other amenities like spa & play areas are fantastic. Perfect venue with Kids. The sit-out areas are perfect to enjoy the weather and ambience. Overall a relaxing and pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this.

Nice & serene hotel but lacks hospitable staff
I stayed at Claridges nabha for one night this weekend. Even though there was nothing really lacking in the hotel infrastructure, couple things that were stuck out in a not-so- good way were- 1)The hotel staff- The hotel really needs to invest in highly trained hospitality industry graduates for their staff. The entire staff experience left much to be desired. At a couple instances in my 12- hour stay, I was left disappointed by the lack of hospitality and eagerness to please that is typical of hotels of similar calibre 2) Cleanliness- I understand that this hotel is a vintage property and should not be expected to be sparkly new and shiny like contemporary hotels. However for the fairly high tariff that they charge, guests should not have to put up with stained and dirty carpets, stains on the walls as well as marks on bed linen, all of which made the stay unpleasant and made me feel quesy when using the linen. I hope management listens to this and takes actions to rectify these two points, as otherwise the hotel was pretty good with pretty rooms and a great location.

Perfect hill station hotel
The hotel, as an old residence, preserves the charm of times past with nice decor and the feeling of a retreat. The grounds are lovely and it is located a perfect distance from the business of the Mussoorie Mall Road, with a free shuttle to- and fro. Food was delicious-- breakfast every morning was very nice-- although the a la carte menu is somewhat limited. We got massages at the spa and thoroughly enjoyed them, plus the sauna and steam room included afterwards. Overall a peaceful stay in a beautiful location.

We went to mussorie on a leisure trip. The overall experience was good. Hotel is very well maintained. Rooms were very neat and clean though small in size but dosen't bother as all the amenities were well in place present. They give you pillow of their choice. SPA was very basic only one treatment room. Overall good experience.
