The room was nice and bed was comfortable. Their is no daily room cleaning. Shower basin had hairs on it and shower sink had a pube. Fridge had a spillage stain. Call to housekeeping and problems solved. There was no bathrobes, slippers or ironing facilities which was contrary to what Expedia website disclosed.

Nice exterior renovations, however the amenities were a complete let down - clearly suggesting improvements are needed. Upon arrival, door did not lock properly and can be pushed open from the outside with no key. Shower head was not working correctly and had to be replaced. A gym was originally advertised (now removed from online) as a feature of the accommodation, however was non-existent; similar to that of The Oxford restaurant - a reservation for dinner was made for The Oxford. However, there were no attempts to inform us that The Oxford was still in construction (until the day of check-in), despite making reservations well in advance. Room amenities as listed on Expedia, that were missing from room: bathrobes, iron/ironing board and slippers. Staff at reception were helpful in addressing our concerns and were able to reach to an agreement. However, the experience had already left us disappointed well before we even checked out.
