Nice hotel about 10 mins walk from cathedral. Excellent receptionist who was very knowlegible and booked me two good restaurants . The town itself I’d pleasant and it’s a good stopping point en route from Perpignan to st malo or vica Versa.

Hotel is close to old center. We loved the view from our room over city and cathedral. Hotel served great breakfast with all fresh products. Never heard of Alexandre Vialatte, but this hotel really goes a long distance to honor this man.

Dissappointing.
Hotel was disappointing, epecially for the price. Lobby was nice but hallways on upper floors were shabby. Room was small. Toilet seat was so boxed un by units that no one bigger than a small child could sit on it. Not the best located hotel for the historic part of the city. Would not stay again.

You did not give us the opportunity to understand your dissatisfaction on site. I am sure that by communicating with the team we would have found a solution to satisfy you. Moreover, we are located on the Place Delille next to the historic district and the Port street, which is one of the main squares in the centre of Clermont-Ferrand. Nice hotel close to the old city center with convenient underground car garage. Superior rooms have a lovely balcony with table and chairs, looking towards the cathedral. Very friendly and professional staff!

Very enjoyable stopover
Stayed here on our way down to the south coast. Hotel has a great central location, which made it easy to pop out in the evening, and the inside has a lovely feel to it. Very convenient parking under the building, and the kids got their breakfast free.

Adequate hotel, located on the fringes of the old town, walking distance from the Cathedral (which is the centre of it all). Neighbourhood is ok, looks better in photos than reality, but safe enough. Room is spacious, clean and adequate. Overall, a good deal for the money, but no frills.

Overnight stop. Hotel easy to find and although close to a main road, we still had a good nights sleep. The receptionist was polite and friendly, making check in quick and easy. The room, 405, was comfortable, clean and well equipped. A handy coffee machine, hair drier and a balcony! Underground carpark at the hotel was €10 per night. Clermont-Ferrand is a beautiful, friendly city, highly recommend

The family rooms were excellent. 2 Separate bedrooms which included TVs inside both which allowed us parents to relax while our 2 yr old and 3 yr old slept next door. Parking reasonable price. The views at breakfast are fantastic too!

Great views and a perfect location.
The first thing I have to write about is the view. Be sure to book a room with a view because it will not disappoint. The hotel was very easy to access and the staff spoke perfect English, making the stay that much more enjoyable. In terms of cons, the hotel garage was super tight and the room was small—by American standards. By French and European standards, the room was perfect. I don’t give perfect reviews often, but this one deserves a perfect review.

Nice hotel with a great view from the top floor
The views from the breakfast room on the top floor are great. The breakfast is tasty and varied too. It's a short walk up into the city centre and there are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. The rooms are modern looking.

4 star hotel, only in price...
At check in the staff was friendly and professional. After that, the series of problems began... They gave me the wrong room that I had paid for, needed to insist on a change for my original reservation. (they tried to give me a tiny room for the same price.) Internet connection was horrible, unacceptable for this kind of hotel, they told me I had to have a room near the center of the hotel to get wifi.... euh thanks gang, not helpful. No heating at all, the room was cold for my entire stay, the heating system was non functional. The night shift, specifically the woman at the desk was not fun and unhelpful, if you don't want to work there, stay home or find another job... never experienced this, ever.

Good hotel, in good location
Good clean hotel, just short walk from centre of town. Car Park easy to access. Staff very friendly. Rooms are a little on the small size though. Room with balcony and view over the city and Puys is great.

A good overnight stop at this slightly funky "literature" hotel. Room was quite small, but clean and well maintained, and themed in line with the hotel's style. great breakfast on the 6th floor overlooking the cathedral and Puy de Dome in the distance

It maybe just us but we did not have hardly any wifi. In order to get one bar we had to open the door to the hallway, ridiculous actually. We loved the view from our balcony, comfortable bed and decent size shower but basically no internet access in room and uncomfortable lobby( due to remodeling) made it hard to enjoy the stay. Their free breakfast was pretty good for hotel in France though. If they finish the remodeling and solve wifi problem it will be so much better although the beautiful park like are in front of the hotel was kind of scary due to the sketchy ppl hanging out.

Pleasant Stop in Claremont-Ferrand
This was a quick overnight en route from western France to Venice. The city view from my room and also from the breakfast room was spectacular. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Location!
Hotel is located in downtown, close to many shops and restaurants. Train station was only a 10 minute walk. Morning breakfast was awesome. What a view! Best in town! Food was good.. nice selection. Traditional French with a mix of some American. Staff was very helpful, from making reservations to calling cabs. I would recommend this hotel. We stayed in the family room, which was nice. Separate room for parents, 2 kids each had there own futon. They were happy.

An enjoyable stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again if we needed a room in Clermont.

We had a one night stay on New Years Day. The hotel staff were efficient and friendly. The underground parking is secure and easy to access. My only criticism is the room smelled slightly of poor toilet drainage when we came in.
