Very kindly let us check in early. Friendly and informative as to what was available in the area. Very clean and a comfortable bed.

Very helpful check in. He asked without prompting if we needed any dinner recommendations, which we appreciated. Spa room was a welcome addition

Excellent stay. A slight issue with carpet dampness was rectified immediately with prolific apologies. Room was serviced each day, bed made, dishes washed and kitchen tidied. Top rated service. Highly recommended.

Disappointing
The Man on the front desk was very pleasant. Unfortunately that’s where it ended. The room was very sub par and in need of a deep clean. One of the pillows on the bed (black pillowcase) had a white dribbled substance all over it the pillow cases were part of the duvet cover set which really isn’t practical and worried me as to how often they were cleaned. If you use 2 pillows in bed you have no choice but to use them as there were no additional pillows in cupboard. Even the blanket in the cupboard looked dirty. The bed was very soft and back breaking and not much sleep was had.

We stayed here with our 2 Grandchildren and we all really liked the cooking facilities and the cleanliness of our rooms. Also the daily fresh linen... So nice. Short walk to the city centre or quick stroll round the bus stops. While the decor and furniture is a bit dated the place was the cleanest I've stayed in....very good value for money.

We stayed for one night and we left happy. The place is a bit dated, but it was clean and had everything in it that we needed. We will happily book a room there again. Thank you for a good stay.

Lovely and helpful couple managing the hotel with efficiency, helpfulness and friendliness. Has everything you need, close to restaurants and a 5-minute drive from the city centre. David was awesome!

Stay over for 2 days was nice and quiet. Cleanliness of the bathroom needs attention with patches of mould in the shower tile grouting, towel holder was hanging off the wall. Other than that there were no complaints

I found the owner extremely thoughtful and amenable. We visited our family the whole visit during the day, and he very kindly drew our curtains and turned on the heat pump, so that on our return in the evenings the room was super warm and welcoming.

Had double room with spa bath. Bed was comfortable, water pressure was good. Pillows were very soft, needed to request another set to double up. Generally very good value for money.
