With the hotel only having one elevator we waiting over 15 minutes each time we needed to use it. With so many people waiting to use the elevator a big line was forming. Very inconvenient. The stairs wasn’t an option for us. The hotel was also hot.

Although the hotel is beautiful, our room was not necessarily all that clean. We asked for every other day cleaning, and we had to call to remind them. Breakfast staff were fantastic. Front desk staff were hit and miss. On day of checkout, one was incredibly short with me, just about trying to figure out how to get a taxi.

They had tons of people there because it was spring break and one of the elevators wasn’t working the whole time which Matt you waited for five minutes or more every time you wanted to take an elevator.

Place was great. Construction seems over with. Elevators are a hassle. Expect to be waiting a bit in the morning or at night. Overall great stay though

Stayed 4 nights in April, good location, staff were polite and courteous, but upon check in we reported that the toilet in our room was broken. We were told that an engineer would be up to fix it...after 3 more contacts with the front desk over the ensuing three days, they eventually came and replaced the broken handle. Obviously, something that should have been addressed at the initial indication of the issue, but after repeated promises by the front desk to get the problem resolved, it took a 4th follow up to get any action 3 days after we checked in. Location was good, the overall stay was what we expected from an Embassy Suites aside from the failure to address the broken toilet and the failure to apologize or offer any rate adjustment or other acknowledgement that working plumbing is a pretty fundamental issue in a hotel.

Great hospitality hour and breakfast. Public spaces very open and clean. The staff go out of their way to help make stay easier-simple things like breaking cash into smaller bills( even though mostly cashless world), grabbing silverware when breakfast area not open. We had a great experience for just a one night stay.

Issue with Expedia and hotel - was on phone with both for way to long. Hotel staff dropped ball and lacked communication. Spoke with multiple people at hotel and kept making promises that weren't kept. Manager did not take responsibility for a reservation. Ended up going to a different hotel downtown Chicago (great stay, highly recommended the DoubleTree by Hilton) after having to alter travel plans the day before.

The elevator situation was terrible. It took 10 minutes to get an elevator and when one finally arrived, it was usually full of people resulting in waiting longer for an elevator with room. It seemed like they only had one or two (of four) running at a time, even during peak hours. If you're in a hurry at any time during your stay, you'd need to take the stairs. Breakfast was complimentary but it was so busy that it was almost impossible to get anything, including a seat. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

I took a class of 20 high school seniors to Chicago, and our stay here went without a hitch, the breakfast was excellent, and having it there meant I didn't have to take them somewhere else for another meal. They put us all on the same floor and the staff was super helpful with my group. Will definitely stay here again next year!

Long lines at check in. Dog barking in room next to us. Phone didn’t work so we couldn’t call down about the dog…elevator banks crazy busy so took forever to get elevators and tell the front desk about the dog. Soap and shampoo dispensers broken.

The hotel is understaffed, and the infrastructure is slow and outdated. The elevator was so slow (over 5 minutes every time) that the dingy, garbage-strewn stairs were the primary mode of moving between floors for most guests in this 10 floor hotel. Having one desk clerk on staff at 5pm check-in shows poor management. We will not return to this hotel, and we may not ever stay at another Embassy Suites

Room wasn't serviced the entire stay. The room was dirty from arrival. The deadbolt on the door was non-functioning and there was no "Do Not Disturb" sign for the room. Towels were dirty. Not up to standards of any Embassy Suites I've stayed at.

Valet parking staffs are friendly and the receptionists at the lobby are kind and friendly as well. I rated it 4 out of 5 because of their housekeeping schedule. They said that housekeeping will do cleaning every other day but it wasn’t true. We stayed 5 days, no one came to give fresh towels and clean our room. We had to request for fresh towels and most of the time , no one delivers it. I had to go down to get it.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The room was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was delicious. The omelette was our favourite. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect, we walked everywhere. We'll definitely stay at this hotel next time we are back to Chicago.

The property was extremely noisy. The windows are not soundproof: you are constantly hearing the police sirens pretty much all day.
