The property could use some updating. It’s a shame because it’s in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the city. Our room had an odor to it and the cleanliness was fair.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was all fantastic. In our room the beds were very hard and uncomfortably low to the ground. The toilet was crowded between the sink and wall with little room. I didn't ask for a room change so I don't know if all rooms are similar.

The room is tired and dated. Worn carpet, dirty tiles in bathroom. In great need of full renovation. Dark and sad hallways. What is great? Very nice lobby and great location. I’d spend the same $ and stay at the Sofitel.

This was an amazing hotel. The staff and facilities were impeccable and so well maintained. Our only issue was the breakfast. The food was not well prepared and the wait staff weren’t very pleasant. However, this would still be an option for us to stay again. Great location, within walking distance to the beach, the Magnificent Mile for shopping, and Navy Pier. Other than the only breakfast we had at the hotel, the stay was perfect!

I have stayed at this hotel previously and I enjoyed my stay. This stay was more than double the normal price and much less enjoyable. We had a corner room with a weird toilet facing into the room and a shower that did not work. There is no coffee in the room and the coffee was late in the am. I will never stay here again.
