Good stay but ..
The staff at the help desk was very helpful. When we did the booking through Hotels.com the age of the child mentioned was quite different to the age of the children required at the hotel. Please make sure you check with the hotel also as this is a false marketing by hotels.com website. We had to pay extra for our stay as the child age requirement was different at the hotel.

It is a renovated hotel but the condition of the room was not good. The A/C was suboptimal, though the technician checked it out, it was not working well. The bathroom roof had a water spot and the bathroom door is stuck very difficult to open or close. We booked 2 twin bed room but was offered a single bed room and they explained it as a glitch in their system as they are newly renovated hotel, very disappointed. Also their check in process was not friendly, no smiles, no info about the hotel amenities, very rushed and unfair check in process. Though they offered a free meal to make up for it, we were not interested. There were too many instances which made us very unwelcomed, not the reception we expected from a top notch brand.

Room was clean and very well maintained. The dining experience was wonderful with plenty of vegetarian options. All the staff members were very friendly and courteous. Balakrishnan, Meryl, Keith, Shankar and Kennedy were extremely helpful and ensured all our needs were well taken care of. You have amazing staff working for you. That said, I found the General Manager Illa Prabhu's people skills to be unacceptable. I found her frequently yelling at her staff members in front of guests. This happened multiple times. I rarely found her smiling or greeting customers. Besides that, my experience staying at WelcomHotel was amazing. Kudos to the entire staff.

I stayed here for my visa interview. The location is 5 minutes from the US consulate. People are excellent, very clean rooms and great food. Highly recommend.

The room cleaning service was very good. Jayanthi, our room cleaner, was very helpful and did the job very well. Also, the GM, Ms. Prabhu provided helpful, personalized service. And the Chinese restaurant in the hotel had poor food and ran out of vanilla ice cream.
