Easy airport access. Restaurant staff a bit lacking on experience / training. After waiting40 min for eggs Benedict found that order not placed. Ran out of time after another 15 minutes and left hungry.

The facilities are of course premium but the staff at Trident Chennai always elevate your stay experience further. This recent stay was by my parents and they have nothing but superlatives to describe the experience. Keep it up, Trident Chennai.

The staff and the service received were excellent, the food in the cinnamon restaurant was exceptional. The room was clean but dated. The pool was ok with good service. The area surrounding was close to the airport. I didn’t go out but there was a lot of noise from the planes, although the room I had was quiet. I would recommend this hotel, for me it was a stop off for a flight home.

I had been ill before arriving, so the staff took excellent care of me -- from the front desk to the restaurant, I was in good hands. They even provided some medicine that I needed for my long travel plans. I miss them already.

Excellent Stay at Trident, Fantastic Staff
Excellent stay at Trident,, Chennai. Biggest asset of the property are its staff, super attentive and helpful. The property, building, grounds are gorgeous and immaculately maintained. They do need to modernize the rooms and especially bathrooms, they are showing their age.

A one night stay. We choose the Trident because of it’s close proximity to Chennai Airport. This is a well run hotel with comfortable rooms, swimming pool, Bar, and Restaurant serving both Asian and western cuisine. An excellent place to relax before a flight. Would use again and not hesitate to recommend Dave & Salt Yorks

Very happy customer...
This is a really wonderful hotel. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Positive: Great location, close to airport. Shuttle service was excellent, very professional. I was greeted with respect and hospitality, even a glass of juice while checking in. Breakfast buffet was delicious with many choices of Indian and western foods. Service was impeccable. Skillful and friendly. Upon checking out, I had to wait for a driver. I was offered coffer and biscuits while waiting. Negative: Original desk clerk offered to have tea brought to my room and newspaper in the morning. Neither arrived. Also, he told me that the spa was booked. That was the only glitch during my visit. Later, another clerk said the spa was booked yesterday, but not for this morning. He immediately led me to the steam room which was all I wanted. It was delightful. The one staff member wasn't on the ball, but every other staff member was friendly and very helpful. The overall experience was wonderful. This is an excellent hotel.

Property is fantastic and service is beyond and above. Few mins from the AP. In house Bar and Restaurants are good. It’s on busy highway, walking to nearby restaurants is not possible. Definitely will stay again

Best Hotel in Chennai- a classic gem. Food is fantastic! Their Chef is the best for taking Indian cuisine to a whole different level for westerners and Indians to enjoy!

It was one night stay with my extended family; 3 rooms before catching BA early morning flight. At Check in desk- everyone was highly professional. Laxmi was superb. Another name to mention was Vinitha.Kids were given a painting kit and I have given passport holders. Early check in and Room upgrade was considered ( probably due to my Hotel.com premiere status- Gold member or check in desk professionalism). All 3 rooms were given in the same floor though inter connected rooms couldn’t be given ( it was requested at the time of booking). Restaurant- Sourav, Aravindh at lunch and Avinash at dinner were excellent. Chauffeur service- on arrival and departure- it was timely and 5*.
