"This hotel is quite modern, but lacking ALL the modern amenities like multiple USB wall sockets. I loved the location and cleanliness. I can see how it would be great for longer-term stays. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to use the pool and workout room. I disliked the self check-in and check-out for the parking garage. It was too modern and tech reliant. I only realized that once I was in my room, I needed my license plate number. My parking space then expired while I was headed back down to the parking garage. There was no means by which to call down to the front desk for help. The AI chatbot also could not help me. We could have used more coffee pods and creamers and being ARIDzona, body lotion."

"We stayed downtown for the Rod Stewart concert. The Hyatt is nice, the staff at check in were very polite. The bartender was great. Highly recommended this hotel for a stay downtown, hope to stay again."

"The room with 2 queens was clean and attractive. The air conditioning did very well in 107 F heat. There’s a lovel outdoor space with tables and umbrells. Parking was barely enough. A couple of times we got the last space. Also, the caulking in the bathroom was stained and unsightly. Some people might be bothered by the neighborhood, but those people should just go get a Marriott. The Downtown Phoenix was a very good value."

"No pillows…bed had 3 very flat small pillows. Asked front desk for additional pillows…she said they didn’t have any extra pillows for guest…bed is old and very hard. Light from hallway illuminates entire room from open air vent above door. No way to block light out. Side walks outside hotel …drug deals going on. Parking garage closest to hotel ..homeless sleeping in doorways. Stickey urine in all stairwells."

"This place was perfect. Location was great! We went for a concert and loved how close it was to stores and the venue. Breakfast was delicious, the restaurant served a delicious dinner… Already booked again for another show in 2 weeks."

"My significant other and I stayed here for a birthday getaway and overall had a good experience. The hotel was nice, our room on the 8th floor was clean and had a great mountain view, and housekeeping did an excellent job. We also enjoyed the pool and the complimentary breakfast. The main issue was the check-in experience. After traveling five hours from out of state, the employee who checked us in came across as rude and unwelcoming. The heavy sighs and remarks made us feel uncomfortable. We also observed a similar interaction with another guest. While the guest may have interrupted, the situation could have been handled in a more professional and courteous manner. On a positive note, another employee later helped answer our questions and was much friendlier and more welcoming. Unfortunately, I did not get anyone's name. The only other downside was the bed, which we found uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore back and expected a more comfortable mattress for a hotel of this quality. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast, pool, housekeeping, and mountain views were all highlights. With a more welcoming check-in experience and better mattress comfort, this would have been an excellent stay."

"We stayed here because it was such a short distance to the Mortgage Matchup Arena! I would NOT stay again! The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in! Mattress was so lumpy it felt disgusting to sleep on and pillows were really worn out and lumpy as well. The walking distance was nice but I will stay at the other hotel right across the street next time! VERY disappointed! For such a nice hotel and rooms need a major update and new mattresses bedding need to be top priority!"
