Staff are very helpful but we had to change rooms because the air-conditioning was not functioning properly and the room was hot. The new room was slightly better. Although this hotel is very basic, I had hoped they would provide a toothbrush and a shower cap at the very least. Location wise it is near Rick’s cafe which is everyone’s favourite destination.

It’s Just 4 minutes walk from Casa Port railway station ..staff are helpful and friendly.. it’s better to get your breakfast early rather than keep it to the last hour ( they start to clean the break fast area between 10:30 to 11:00)

Great staff! So friendly! Air conditioner not so good but other wise it was fine. Close to train station and mosque. Perfect For a night or two. Great breakfast!

This was listed as a 4 star, Actually, it was more like a 3 star. The room had very few electrical outlets. it only provided 2 paper cups for water or coffee. No spoon for coffee, nor creamer, bathroom did not contain what is expected of 4 star hotel. Breakfast was extremely limited in offering. Good central location, but overall very disappointing.

Lovely hotel but bad nights sleep
We stayed for one night. The Hotel itself was lovely & clean & the location is good as near the souk. The hotel staff on reception were responsive and helpful & the wifi excellent . My only complaint is that it was excessively hot & there was no air conditioning. When we enquired about this we were told it had been switched onto heating only! The only option we had to cool down was to leave the windows open. Even on the 16th floor this was really noisy as there was construction work going on opposite & combined with the heat didn’t sleep well at all.

A very nice sand contemporary hotel, close to the old medina in Casablanca, and handy to the central area. The staff were lovely, and accommodating even with my poor French. It was clean, and the food was fresh. The workout area had a variety of machines to use, as well. One knock was that only two of the three elevators worked the entire 5 days I was there, and it was down to one elevator for part of the time. I would definitely stay here again.

Not As Described! We feel scammed!!
The hotel description states free wifi included. The wifi never worked. We let the front desk person know and he said he would advise the tech department about our issue. Nothing was ever done and they never followed up with us. I don’t understand how this is a 4 star Novotel. We never encountered this before in a Novotel. The room is very run down. The bathroom door doesn’t close. The ac doesn’t work. There was only one outlet by the beds. The water in the shower is barely warm.

The upper management of the facilities need to pay careful attention to the overall condition of the facilities as well as the supplies in the rooms. The towels are TERRIBLE!!! Invest in NEW TOWELS after a certain use time!! Old towels are rough and retain a very bad smell even after cleaning!! The towels I used in THREE different rooms are smelly and terrible!! This means that what encountered was the rule not the exception. The carpet in all rooms was awful dirty. This is NOT the problem of the cleaning staff. I saw they were doing the best; again It’s because the carpet needs to be removed and replaced after a normal number of years. Greed seemed evident and it’s a problem of the upper management and owners. Invest in new supplies anc new furniture! It will pay for itself in the long run.

No Refund
Our trip was cancelled by our travel agents due to the Covid virus and international travel being shut down and when they were contacted Novotel Casablanca City Center refused to refund our money. The cancellation was completely out of our control. Although we will be booking the same vacation in the future as soon as this virus is in better control, we will absolutely NOT be staying at this establishment. The lust for money is evident and it trumps kindness and hospitality. Buyer beware, once they have your money they will never see it again.

From airport to hotel, it costed us 300 MAD arriving at midnight. Room was big and clean. Only 2-3 elevators at the property, so it took awhile to get onto the elevator given the number of guests that have. Breakfast starts at 6:30am, but they have some complimentary coffee, tea, juices and some bakery available at 6am at the restaurant if you need to catch an early flight.

Convenient located close to train station Casa Port “, which is just cross the street. Rick’s Cafe, Marina Shopping Mall and Grand Mosque are all within walking distance. Comfortable bed and spacious room, good breakfast and all staffs we met were friendly. Recommend

This is a very rundown hotel that you would not be able to tell from the lobby. The worst part is that it is filthy. I’m talking pubic hair and urine on the seat!? It is supposed to be non smoking and there is signs everywhere yet the hallways and our bathroom wreaked of cigarette smoke! I think they assigned rooms that were not cleaned. The carpets in the rooms and hallways seemed they hadn’t been vacuumed for a while with questionable things dried into the carpet. We had to change rooms a few times until we got a semi decent room without urine on the toilet seat and clean-ish. They cater to large Tours so any room with twin beds were basically horrible, the carpet was filthy, the safe didn’t work and the AC didn’t work in most rooms. If you plan on staying in this hotel make sure you get a room in higher up floors and request it to be serviced although they say it’s a king bed they have a queen bed. Try to get the even numbered rooms. They face the ocean and the big mosque so at least you have a view. I think that front desk has heard these complaints so much that they’ve become desensitized and a bit rude. We had requested one of the front desk workers come see the room with us and she agreed the floors were filthy! The breakfast food was okay but the workers had an argument right in front of us and the plates and cups were not all clean. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
