A lovely budget hotel with kitchenette and swimming pool. A little way out of the town, but walkable on a nice day. Very friendly staff and super clean. Comfy beds. Spacious bathroom with good shower. Would recommend.

Value for money hotel on edge of Carcassonne
Stayed for one night before flying out from Carcassonne. A bit difficult to find but with large secure car park. Clean and comfortable room. We didn't use the basic kitchenette but it looked fine.

Great value- pity pool was closed
Everything was great (didn't have breakfast but it seemed to be nice too) with the exception of the pool not being open. It would be helpful if hotels mentioned the dates their pool is open so that we can make an informed decision.

Helpful staff. Poor Wifi
The hotel is easily found on the outskirts of Carcassonne and there is a reliable bus service right outside the gate that takes you to the station. From there it is a pleasant walk through the city to the Citadel. The hotel itself was clean and well kept however the WiFi was unreliable and when it was accessed it was extremely slow.

Hotel is ok but room smelt of fish for the night we were there, previous people obviously had a takeaway or cooked indoors! Could of been cleaner too but aircon worked well! Pool smaller than photos show and you have to drive or get a taxi like we did if you wish to venture out to medieval city, will set you back €30 there and back! Preferred Cerisse south that we used last year!

Very dirty. Booger on curtains, ”white stains” on carpet, wall near lightswitch full of dirty hand prints. Toilet had a seal of hygienia and when I open the cover there were poop stains.

Adequate but could have been cleaner
The room was nice and perfectly adequate for our needs. The visit was spoiled however because the room had cobwebs in one corner of the ceiling and the previous occupant had left mud/ dirt marks high up on the bathroom entrance which had not been cleaned off before our arrival. We also could not swim in the pool on arrival as it was full of leaves and debris from the wind (ie: insufficient maintenance). We were only staying 4 nights so decided it wasn’t worth complaining but it detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay. The cleaners need to be told to look upwards when cleaning as everywhere else was ‘spotless’. Great location near a Carrefour supermarket and retail park with some restaurants. You need a car or taxi to get into the town however as it’s a 30 minute walk to Place Carnot in the town centre.

Very Poor Service; No Staff Onsite! No a/c!
Terrible experience! 1st we arrived around 11PM very tired and couldn't even get inside the hotel. Took about an hour to 'break' in. We found out later that there's no staff onsite after 9PM, so no front desk or even a security guard onsite --very strange for a good sized hotel like this. Shame on this hotel for trying to cut corners to this extreme! We had no internet/wireless/service on our cell phones & didn't know in advance that there was no staff after 9 PM so it was very stressful arriving tired at 11PM feeling like intruders. There wasn't even a sign or phone to use on the outside to advise guests of this strange procedure. Luckily a fellow traveler was in the lobby eventually &saw us outside fumbling around & got us in touch with the off site hotel staff &access the lock box (he said he had the same experience too). To be fair, an email had been sent a few hours before we arrived that had info re: late arrivals in it but we were traveling with no access to emails. The "no front deck after 9 PM" should've been clearly stated in the booking site ad upfront so guests could decide if this is the kind of place they want to book BEFORE they book it! Another disaster is that the hotel was advertised as having a/c. It's part of the reason we booked it since many airbnbs don't have a/c. But upon arrival once we finally got in& settled, we couldn't get the a/c to work. It was so late &we were so tired that with no front desk available we just sweated it out; no staff help.

Everything was really great - service, cleanliness, parking and location were perfect for us and the price was great. only things to improve were the wifi (very temperamental), more towels needed, and the pool was a wee bit small so could get busy at times. the sofa bed was comfortable

Comfortable hotel close to the airport
All good except that the pool was not open, as advertised on its website, and that was half the reason we had booked it. Handy for both the airport and for the city of Carcassonne. Emily the receptionist was lovely, and most helpful

Excellent budget hotel.
Small room but very clean and well equipped kitchen. If you are looking for somewhere to stay on a budget I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great value for the price 4 of us in2 rooms my room very small in comparison with our friends table was nearly on the bed on the other hand our friends room was huge great staff very helpful its a pity your rooms are not all the same size no sitting area

Good value for money & easy access.
A pleasant stay, better then you might expect for the low price. Can't comment on the larger options but the single/double apartment room was small and compact but had everything I needed and was clean. Decent air conditioning, comfy bed and a black out curtain & blind made for a quality sleep, and the place was quiet. (stayed early September). The hotel is well outside the city area but by a main road and easy to access the tourist area, motorways and supermarkets nearby. Staff were very friendly, although the reception desk does close by 9pm. There is a small grass area enclosed by the hotel building and bordered with trees, and a small swimming pool. The large car park is gated and secured at night. A decent continental buffet breakfast is offered additionally. Overall, I'd certainly stay here again, and recommend this hotel/apartment as a great base to stay on a budget :)

Didn't stay. website states check in until 9pm. We got there 8.50pm and it was all closed up! If you advertise for 9pm that means 9pm and not before. But I guess it's make your own rules at this place.

Difficult to stay here without a car
For the young and hardy, the walk from this hotel into town and then onto the medieval city is not so bad. In my 70s I did it myself. Having to do it because public transportation is poor and taxis are erratic is not acceptable. Though the rooms include meager kitchens, buying food requires a car or the willingness to walk more than 2 miles round trip on a busy road with no sidewalk. My recommendation for Carcassonne: stay in a downtown hotel or bring your own car. Otherwise, you'll spend too much time worrying about (or waiting for) transportation that may or may not show up.

3 day visit to carcassonne - the hotel is up the hill from the station. The checkout closes from 12 to 3 daily and the wifi was patchy. Great value and staff very friendly and helpful

Comfortable hotel on the edge of Carcassonne. Rooms have kitchen facilities.Staff were very helpful. 10/15 minute walk to the station or 10euro taxi run to the old town. WiFi only available in the lobby, to good enough in today's market.

Great value & good quality appartments.
Excellent value for money.Clean, good size room with comfortable twin beds, nice bathroom & kitchenette,Polite,friendly & honest staff (left passport etc in bumbag there!)Pool smaller than appears in pic but very appealing. A 15 min walk to Canal du Midi where are restaurants but need to drive 10 mins to medieval city where plenty of parking.Takeaway pizza 2 mins from apartments. Good standard friendly apartments & would stay again. Many thanks to helpful reception , !

Good points: the hotel was very good value at about 25 GBP a night in August, including free car park, small but ok pool, and wifi in communal areas. Staff were very helpful. There is a communal laundry, although the dryer wasn't working. Minuses: the rooms are a little shabby, the sofabed not very comfortable. There is an ethernet cable in the rooms but it won't fit some (many?) makes of modern laptop. Note: reception is not staffed 24 hours. If you plan to arrive after 9pm (check on this time, it might change) then you need to call in advance to get key codes for the car park and for your room key.

Ok apartment with hotel pool, parking at front with a lift. Beware that check in does not open until 3pm and as we experienced there will be a queue waiting and takes a long time. Neighbourhood is bland. But the medieval village approx 7ks away is fabulous and a must see.

Would not stay at this hotel again, way to far from the city, €20 taxi ride from the Airport. The room was simple and I thought it was over priced for what you got. No front desk staff during the evening to morning and no wifi in the rooms, only in a small sitting area that also had to plugs. Wasn't thrilled

comfortable and affordable Carcassonne
Cerise Nord was very enjoyable. The appartment was roomy , clean and comfortable. The building is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. Access to the pool was a big plus as I visited during a heatwave. The hotel is a bit distant from the medieval city (40 min. Walk) and the train station (20 min walk) but the walk is a pleasant one (going downhill to the city so up hill to the hotel!) Another thing that might be a bit annoying for some is that there is no wi-fi in the rooms, only wired internet connexion. However, wifi is available in public areas and that was sufficient for me. I definitely recommend this hotel if you do not mind the distance to main attractions. )
