They looped us into a 90 minute presentation to become a “member” and get cheaper stay in future. Near the end we figured it was just a timeshare presentation ( they name it something else) that needs thousands of dollars upfront cost. The high pressure sales pitch ruined our day and it took close to 2.5 hours. In the end they gave some useless freebies like a tshirt and a bag with their branding. They also gave a free photo session which we did not use. Future guests, Please decline invitation for “member preview” stuff. It’s going to ruin a day of your vacation.

I’ve gone here every year for the past 6yrs. Sadly this was my last one. Check in lady was the most unwelcoming an gave any details or change in the property, for example this is an all inclusive but they now charge a room service fee, is not about the money was never informed. Then Ac broke, the whole time off my stay the elevator broke down, in order to work in one off them we had to push doors shut to go up was ridiculous to go through this. I’ve stayed in all inclusive nothing like this. Adrian $ Eli did there best at front but was just terrible. Never got my upgrade. Never got a king bed. It was my forth bday my group at check in order for the bday welcome for my room I didn’t get untill the afternoon before a day of check out. What make my stay great was Javier & Nancy by the pool servers. Amazing how they felt bad made sure my whole group was happy.

The elevator didn't work. We have to go up and down stairs, when i got there i was supposed to have a vip room and they changed it for a regular room. the food and the restaurants are good, the staff is kindness.

Noisy, elevators not working, very outdated in everything. The outdoors pools are ok but we spent all of our tike at solaris side which is spectacular and clean.

Better have singles and ready to tip at every turn. Otherwise you get the weird looks. Place had hundreds of laying beds so get ready to have no space just chill and get all the drinks to not care for any space - and bring all the change

Highly recommend!!! Lovely resort. The staff were so friendly and great with kids. Very, very clean rooms. Our room was just a few steps to an awesome beach area. Enjoyed the water aerobics, theater, music, mini golf and kayaking that were all included. The Caribe side is more mellow and the Solaris side is more lively. Kids loved the beach and designated kids water park and jacuzzi. Food and drinks were good- especially loved the pizzeria. The only thing I wish was enforced was a no saving beach chairs rule. People put books and towels on all the poolside beds and chairs early in the morning and it seems they rarely become available.

Second stay at this hotel and it was just ok this time. Beds were terribly uncomfortable and room was smaller than last time we stayed. Foods is good, but breakfast staff is not very attentive, hard to get coffee. Overall good experience.

The property and staff were great. Everyone was friendly, and most of the staff spoke English if you did not speak Spanish. The only downside was the food. I had a hard time finding low-carb options besides salad.

Excellent service. The food was delicious. We had 2 of our favorite waitresses Javier, and Carmen gave us excellent service. They were both attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Very helpful, humble, and respectful person. I would go back to GR Caribe

The resort was good but needed more entertainment and the bars closed too early. A little more variety in the food. Excellent service around the resort especially at the poolside at Grand Solaris Caribe.

I contacted both Expedia and the hotel directly a week and half prior to travel to get guarantee that we would be placed in a section with a WORKING elevator as we both have mobility issues. Responses said my request would be met. It was NOT. Elevator could NOT be summoned to the 4th floor. 4 complaints filed with numerous staff at hotel to no avail. No offer to change section or other suggestions. At check out was told by Bell Captain that EVERYONE at the hotels KNOWS of the problem but won't do anything about it. I was competely ignored upon check out when I mentioned it for the final time. Would NOT recommend EITHER hotel if you have mobility issues. NO zero entry pools, or ther accomodations for older people.

Beautiful , clean, well maintained property , access to all three Caribe resorts is a big plus! Caribe is a very nice resort with great staff, excellent customer service and good dinning options. Food was excellent. Almost all hotel staff provided good customer service. Hotel needs upgrade overall but will still recommend and come back for future vacations.

Staff very friendly, helpful, but the hotel did not give us a king size bed, as told to us. Instead we were given two doubles. On a good note, we enjoyed all the beautiful pools and hot tubs. There are so many good choices of restaurants, very clean.

Service was excellent. The food wasn’t - beef was generally overcooked and tough, poor labeling (not sure what we were eating) and veggies had way too much butter
