Enjoyed our stay at this resort and its numerous public pools at the Ayana and Rimba. Plenty of staff around the amenities to attend to our needs.
Encountered some hiccup during check in where it is "hotel policy" to have the name of booking to match the name of guests on their passport OR the concierge was just giving me a hard time. Do not quite understand the need for this given I have had no issues with other hotel check in in Bali with a different booking name. Thus, be sure to book under your passport name.
In room food service was timely but somewhat inconsistent. For example, we ordered the same breakfast two days in a row and got different portions / quantity.
We booked the Pool Access Room which compares unfavourably to another Pool Access Room at a different hotel, particularly when considered in the context of the large premium for such room that Rimba charges. I would probably go with the standard room next time depending on the high / low season of the travel.
