We stayed at Hotel Edison for the Thanksgiving weekend with our 2 children. The staff was great and they were all very helpful. Sam, at the front desk was fantastic! We were looking for a place to eat that was not in the hustle and bustle of Times Square and would not be too expensive. He recommended a lovely location that was not far from the hotel with walking directions. This hotel is located near everything. A short walk to Times Square, Theatre performances and the subway. Fantastic hotel that I would stay at again.
We stayed at Distrikt Hotel for four nights for our first wedding Anniversary. We were greeted by friendly staff and a bell boy to take our bags to our room. We were on the 31st floor in a King Grand View Room. Although the Expedia website stated views of the Empire State Building, we were on the wrong side of the hotel, however, the views were still fab! The room was a little noisy with the windows open as you would expect staying so close to Times Square however once the windows were closed the room is well sound proofed from outside noise. The hotel welcomed us with an arrival letter and chocolate brownie. On the second evening we received a lovely little cup cake and note to celebrate out Anniversary and on Thanksgiving we received a Turkey shaped cookie! The hotel was very clean and the room was presented well, although a little on the small side as you would expect in a City location. The happy hour in the bar downstairs was a nice little touch with free nibbles. The only negative would be there was no discounts on the cocktails during happy hour! We could not fault the staff for their professionalism and knowledge of the City. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a central location, close to Times Square!

It was just what we wanted -- a hip, clean, comfortable, convenient place to stay that didn't cost a fortune for a quick theatre weekend. Our room looked exactly like the online photo. Walked to the theatre, Restaurant Row, Times Square, had a lot of fun and no hassles. I read one online review that complained that the room was small -- well come on, at these rates you're not going to get a suite! There was even an iron and ironing board in the room so I could touch up my shirt before the theatre. A great place to perch. We'll be back!

The reviews were mixed when I looked, but wasn't disappointed. 4 couples went and we all had a great time, beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were great and a special mention to Luis (security) always had a smile on his face.
