Easy check in , helpful staff , 10 mins walk from train station ,little further if your here for the arena 15/20 mins walk, 12 noon checkout is good if you don't wish to get up to early ,food excellent ,would stay here again

Stayed over for a night out, good location and walkable from the city centre. The hotel was clean enough and staff were friendly. The room was nice enough for the price and the beds were surprisingly comfy. You could hear some noise outside of people going past in the early hours, but that’s to be expected when staying near the centre. My only issue was the lifts - they absolutely stink for no apparent reason!

Avoid at all costs ibis Leeds Centre Marlborough Street. This hotel isn’t worth a pound of your money. Facilities are so poor. The rugs are dusty and old. The hotel outside looks modern, but the inside, including the rooms, is a disaster. I also experienced power outages in the hotel bedroom. Avoid regret wasting your money and time at ibis Leeds Centre Marlborough Street.

I have used this hotel on several occasions and always been pleased with it. It is very well located for the office that I visit regularly. On this occasion (January 2024), I was very disappointed that the restaurant was not serving evening meals, only snacks.

Rooms are nice and cosy, looked clean. Tip: Don't get a room by the lifts (room number ending "01") the sound of the lift sounds like strong winds bashing window, kept me awake for hours. Hallway area around lifts stank of damp.

The hotel was great value for money. The only criticism was that the loft had an odd smell. Everything else was great, including the food, room and service. Basic but good.

Short break away
Travelled on the bus from York, taking advantage of the low fares at the moment. We were going to a concert at the first direct stadium in leeds city centre. We chose this hotel for its price and only about half a mile away from where we wanted to be. The room has all you need for a comfortable stay, en suite pod type bathroom, shower toilet and sink, with towels and toiletries included, as you would expect. All nice clean and working. The bed was comfortable, tea and coffee facilities fine, the TV was ok, however a bit small by today's standard. All was good for us in the room apart from the floor at the bed head was quite dusty and had been overlooked during cleaning it would seem. We didn't have breakfast or food in the hotel, but a decent choice was available. Suited our needs for a couple of nights away.
