Delicious food, seafood as well. White pool, very good for children. Kids club should be improved, it's almost non existent. Nice beach, lovely reef and wildlife, amazing live corals. Hard working staff in the kitchen and bar and restaurant.I would return. Even not happy with the parking. And happy with the airplanes!

The staff is absolutely world class, the property was wonderful and the pricing right on target. We chose the hotel at random from the Expedia list and were astonished by our luck. Highly, highly recommended Look forward to a wonderful stay hosted by wonderful people!

It's lovely here, nice food, nice people, but we won't come again as the parking is not only crowded , but also the two free availabilities are apparently for the hotel owner. It doesn't matter if you have a baby, you have to park somewhere else. I noticed another car just parking, I was told it's someone of boos or boss friend? As a hotel owner I would offer my spot to a customer and I would park somewhere else! Or ask an employee to park it! Initially I booked only 3 nights then another 4, now I regret it! Read less

Not the best as dinner and breakfast is served very late especially if you have sn early flight. Passages were wet from the rain. No umbrella available. Bed cery uncomfortable. Bedside lamps too big for tables. Eldvtr6points don't all work.

Great beach resort with pool! Confusing because some guests are all inclusive and others like me were just breakfast included and gad to purchase buffet at lunch or dinner (set times)- so when they offered afternoon snacks (crepes) to all it appeared it was for all. I took one small crepe and staff asked to bill me $350 rupees! Also arrived tired and exhausted from travelling and was looking forward to early sleep! But no- loud music permeated the resort between 9;30 and 11:30…… so not possible to sleep!

Very disappointed overall. Staff were very nice but room was very small for 3 people and did not seem the same as that listed. Pool was dirty and did not seem to be maintained. advertised activities were non existent ( no one around to book). Real shame as it was a good location.

All inclusive included buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was nice and a selection of local drinks. It also included water sports in the marine park and use of most hotel facilities. We paid extra for some spa treatments. This hotel is advertised as 5 star and maybe when it was first built it may have been, however it is in need of some maintenance. Our room had the phone cable sticking out the wall and the shower screen door was not the original, meaning the bathroom got soaked. There were also no complimentary toiletries. I would class this as 3 star at best.

You're welcomed with a drink. They even offered a room service for our first night made of a bottle of sparkling wine (we don't drink alcohol) and a fruits platter. The all inclusive package was the best choice we could have made. Extensive culinary options, the chefs went above and beyond to represent the different cultures on the island. Drinks selection was a bit limited for non alcohol people but the few available were great (the "mambo" is a must try). When it comes to amenities, the pool was clean and welcoming but it pales when compared to the Indian ocean just few feet away. The access to the ocean is free and the hotel offer snorkeling and kayaking equipment for free. For even greater experiences, scuba diving is available for $100ish each. The room is daily cleaned and the staff was happy to help. Overall beautiful experience for a first time on the island. I would go back.

Needs work in some rooms. Had to be moved as had problems with multiple things. Staff and Food excellent, I would rate *****. I didn't find the Management side very helpful. Overall staff very friendly which made my stay pleasureable.

Glad we only stayed for 1 night after we arrived. On arrival there was no parking available, had to wait till someone leaves. We got very dark, tired room. Bathroom smelled like someone did pee in the shower. Shower drain had lots of hairs. Second bedroom had no door and 2 tiny windows close to the ceiling, basically like in prison. At night they have VERY LOUD entertainment and it was impossible to rest after our flight till 11 pm. I definitely don’t recommend this place for families with children. Staff was friendly enough but slow. Took 20 mins to return the towel as they did it at the bar area, was one guy changing towels and serving drinks. Same with breakfast queues to get omelet. The only positive is a hotel Blue Bay location.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Le Peninsula after reading some of the comments that were very negative. Persons cannot expect to have lobster and caviar with a low budget . This hotel is not on the fancy end but you pay for what you get and that worked out just fine for me. The staff made up for this anyway…they were very polite and tended to your every needs. I would like to say a special Eivan at the bar who remembered all our names every day.

Now I know to avoid this place!
Beautiful location next to beach. Decent service, safe, good wifi. However rooms smell musty, there are cockroaches and the ceiling show black material that could be mold. TV reception was crappy. Room seemed crowded.

Dining - extremely poor choice. Drinks - extremely poor choice, only 5 cocktails included, none which were drinkable. Staff - disregard for guests, they chose to rent out the facilities to anantara staff party so we had triple amount of people for dinner and bar to stand in line with. Enterteinment - non-existent!

Our getaway March 2020 to Le Peninsula Resort
Our stay, with half board, 7 - 14 March 2020, room 67, 1st floor, overlooked the sea on one side, & swimming pool the other. Nice hotel, with plenty of choice from the buffets. We chose Le Peninsula for peace & quiet, so just HATED their nightly after dinner 'entertainment' - FAR too LOUD! No rest or sleep was possible until it was over for the night (2 hours?)! Wednesday's 'entertainment' during dinner was disgusting! - Some woman wailing songs, out of tune, with the amplifier turned up full. It was EXTREMELY irritating whilst trying to enjoy your meal and have a conversation with your spouse!! I remarked to a server to "tell the woman to shut up, as she was far too loud". Four songs later, she DID shut up, but our evening meal had already been ruined. If Le Peninsula paid for her services, they wasted their money! A gentle strumming of tunes from someone playing a guitar, or a varied CD collection of popular songs, played at low levels would have been enjoyable. Le Peninsula - WHY IS THE ACCESS GATE LEADING TO THE BEACH PATH NAILED SHUT? Either climb over, or take an unnecessarily long walk around on the sea side - dangerous across rocks at high tide, or walk down the road. The weather - extremely humid (96% most days, 100% on one day!!!), but swimming in Blue Bay Marine Park was DIVINE, rain or shine!! Don't waste money paying for a boat ride to go snorkeling, as lovely corals & bright fish can be seen while snorkeling off the beach right outside the hotel.

The room was very humid, smelly from the cleaning product and very noisy. We could here people walking by the room. The room needs to be renovated. Some guests were quite loud and I could not sleep at all. Quality of food for breakfast was poor.

It was a business trip and I chose the hotel for the beach proximity which is the best thing. The room i had had ants and other creatures especiallly mosquitoes around, the room was old but basic. It was fairly clean as you can expect for a 3*. The wifi was poor in the room I had, i had to move and it was still very patchy- meaning sitting around reception. I took all inclusive although the food was not of great quality or choice, I only had breakfast once which was good, the dinner options were not so many. There are a few feww watersports activity, although I got screwed up by the staff. I was told the glass bottom ride was 30 mins, (once a day!) At 11am, so i booked and turned up at 10,55 as i was told. I had to leave for the airport at 11:45 so had ample time. At 11:05 i asked the guy where the voat is, he said its on its way?! Anyway i asked him how long it would be as I had to keave, he said minimum 1 hour but could do it in 30 mins for me- despite there being 3 ladies waiting. when the boat finally turned up it was 11:20 so I said forget it and walked back to the hotel and left foe the airport. I would say it wasnt worth the price I had paid and I was better off staying at the holiday inn which was significantly cheaper and had acceas to the blue bay beach.

Mauvaise experience
Hotel veillissant chambre sale et climatiseur qui coule = eau dans toute la chambre. Service mauvais (nous avons du retourner à l'acceuil pour chercher une carte obligatoire pour eclairage) on aurait pu nous la rapporter!!! On est entré dans la chambre le matin alors qu'on dormait !! Pas digne de 4 etoiles

Old, badly maintained, didn't look like the pictures, expensive room for its old and broken state. Staff doesn't understand service.. Check in at 14 and by 16 not possible to get beach towels, bad cocktails, dirty pool, broken beach furniture. Not a single staff seems to care for guests comfort or satisfaction. Don't recommend at all,avoid if you can!

The hotel is directly under the flight path for the airport, so close in fact that you can read the serial number on the landing gear of the aircraft!! Food is ok but repetitive, some staff are efficient and friendly but front of house was unhelpful, air con leaked water into suitcase, and had a major ant problem, overall, disappointing

Bed service!! They put us in a room eithout a windo and electricy we couldnt breath and they wont to change the room . Ac was broken all the bed was wet they took them 2 hrs to fix that.. we were on our hoony monn and it was terrible. In the sea there is not enogh beds. The reception prople are very not nice
