Yes its a little rough around the edges and the restaurant has no ambience; but room was fine, hotel was clean, staff were attentive, food at the Brasserie bery good, at the price hard to fault anything. Would go again."

"Good stay at this hotel, a convenient option for Stansted Airport. I appreciate the quick check-in despite a large group of guests arriving simultaneously off the shuttle bus. Bus to airport is convenient and frequent (every 30mins, 5 min ride, 4euro, buses run nearly 24hr). A little shabby in areas, but overall a good option for an early flight out of STN. "

"This was our second stay at Down Hall, as it's a perfect start of the holiday if you have an early flight from Stanstead the following day. The hotel is wonderful and the food at the restaurant amazing. All staff were professional and friendly, in particular the manager was extremely kind and helpful."

"The size of rooms were really good. Bed was very comfy. Parking was the only issue. The close car park was closed and the next closest car park was 20 mins away. Apart from that it was a very good stay. "
