Liked: staff, large room, location (close to Longleat and great restaurants), free parking, free WiFi. Disliked: Wanted to wake up a bit later, as we were on holiday and wanted to rest, but latest we could book breakfast was 8:30am, so had to wake up at 8:00am to make it down there on time, but waited 55 minutes for breakfast to finally arrive at 9:25am. The noise from the traffic on the road kept us and our 9 year old up throughout the night. The noise from loud drunk people downstairs also had the same effect. Bed wasn’t too comfortable, woke up with back pain. Bathroom smelled of long time dried up wee around the toilet.

A really convenient hotel, and the parking was a real bonus that was just outside the back entrance of the hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was located close to shopping and restaurants. The food menu choice was limited but the pie options on the menu were delicious.

Staff were friendly and the room was lovely & clean & tidy & the cooked breakfast was yummy. Quite a lot of steps to the room and also a bit of a hill in to town & back so maybe a little difficult for those with mobility issues. But I would recommend to anyone.

We booked a triple suite for one night. This guesthouse was cosy and clean. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Beds comfy and the shower was great. We ate dinner downstairs and had pies and mash (The Mothership) which were delicious. My son had the southern fried chicken goujons which he really enjoyed. We noticed the pub/restaurant also has live music, including jazz and comedy some nights, which sounded cool. Only five miles from Longleat Safari Park, which was our reason for staying. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

This property is a lovely little Bed and Breakfast near Frome Train Station. The room that was allocated to us was very spacious and well presented. Towels were presented in a nice manner. The staff were excellent and were happy to help with luggage etc and bar staff were very friendly. 5***** property - We would definitely book this place again and reccomend it to friends and family. Thank you to all the staff at The Corner House for the great hospitality. Best wishes from Priya
