We were very disappointed in this room and with the breakfasts. There weren’t any amenities at this hotel such as a place to get a beverage. I was very surprised at how small the room was, and that there were no windows whatsoever! This is not what I expected when I booked the room. If you are claustrophobic, be careful when booking your room. The staff was friendly enough but didn’t go out of their way to see if you needed anything. Best thing I can say is that the location is great and only about a 3 block walk to Las Ramblas.
Have stayed before and this stay was as expected. Excellent.
Good location just off the main action. Local food really close. Staff very helpful every day.
This property was a shocking departure from the images posted on their expedia profile. The hotel is dingy and the area it resides in is both dirty and did not feel safe. In fact the hotel had to buzz the doors open to let us in when we arrived. The interior is dimly lit and run down. The room we booked for over $500 was hardly bigger than a closet and did not resemble the images online. The hotel and room were completely unacceptable, so much so that my wife and I couldn't even tolerate staying one night.
Because we booked through expedia we were not able to get a refund of any sort. Expedia has no recourse and no way to talk to a real person about our terrible experience. I am very frustrated and also out $500. I will avidly avoid using expedia in the future and this hotel in particular should be avoided like the plague.
The ONLY redeeming aspect of this hotel was the patient front desk staff who was able to call a sister hotel and find us a room there for another $500.
We were at the property 5 nights. We had to change rooms as the first night's room was really small. Paid a bit more on site and got a really nice room. But on check in our room was not ready and we could not settle in until about 4:00 P.M. and they were slow to make up rooms on the subsequent days. We simply had to remind the front desk to look after our room and they were very accommodating. Breakfast was top notch. We recommend paying the extra amount (euros 12) for that. The hotel is in a most interesting part of the city. We would stay there again.
It was nice enough. I didn't realize when I put in what days I want on hotels.com that it included 2 nights that were over $400. I would have changed hotels had I known.
Breakfast is good and the attendants are very helpful.
Lovely like hotel in the university district. Character and charm. Amazing staff. Area was a bit noisy and the older balcony windows were not sound insulated.
A funky little hotel full of old world charm just off La Rambla. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Very vibrant community around the hotel with shops, bars and restaurants. Our room this time was smaller than we have had in the past with no view at all but we still enjoyed our stay.
The room was a shoe box. It did not look AT ALL like the pictures. The window is small and the blinds did not work at all. The concierge was rude until he calmed down a little bit. On the right side, for the very few moments I was in the room before leaving I learned a lot about the sex life of the passengers next door. Good to know people still love each other.
This hotel is super clean and well taken care of. The location is in a part of the city that is not very nice, but that detail was compensated by the excellent service.

The Breakfast was Ammazing. Staff at the front desk and cooks were wonderful. They accommodated our family of 5 very well (one being a 9 month old baby).
Worst hotel ever stayed. Hotel front desk guy was quite rude he almost refused us checking in saying that the hotel is full although I booked a room online and it turned out it was his mistake.
Even after we checked in, the room key didn’t work in the first place so we had to ask the guy to open the key.
Plus, the air conditioner was super old and it was too loud that I couldn’t sleep well.
Very unique place! It’s in a great location. You have walking access to many things around the hotel. The staff is great! They have great customer service. Very clean and safe! Loved their healthy breakfast!
