Stay at Barceloneta Beach IV
Amazing location, very close to the beach, also on a relatively quiet street in Barceloneta. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights, the host Pau met us when he said he would and was very helpful. Wifi was fine. Only thing to be aware of, the stairs leading up to the apartment are quite narrow, it was on the 4th floor so involved a lot of climbing to get to the apartment, there is no elevator. We would definitely stay here again, no real complaints about this place, cool balcony overlooking the street too.

Deceptively overpriced
The apartment is small but nice, just two blocks away from the beach. The extra cleaning fee is absurdly high, you need to pay extra for internet use, plus 350€ security deposit. All these details are hidden in small print. Never again!

Company was accommodating of last-minute change
At the last minute we moved to a different location, run by the same company, since I couldn't manage five flights of stairs post-surgically, so I can't speak to the Barceloneta Beach IV.

Studio apartment very close to the beach
Brilliant location. Very clean with new facilities. Excellent staff on check in. Bit short on home comforts - small hard beds, one 1 small thin pillow each, small thin towels. Took many phone calls to get more pillows. Great balcony. Roof terrace disappointing as uncared for.

Perfect Location
We loved our stay and the apartment. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed (including a wine opener). The neighborhood was great. Train station was about a half mile walk, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. A block and a half to the beach! I would absolutely stay here again!

First, no reception in sight. Please give them 30 minutes notice to come. This is 30 second walk to the famous Barceloneta beach and 20 minutes walk to La Ramblas. The room was very comfortable. This studio come with divider of spaces.

Good location, you get what you pay for
Good apartment in old buldibg at Barceloneta. No easy access, the road is closed for cars so you must walk 1 minute from the road. Very narrow corridor with stairs from the street to the appartment, no lift so you must grab your luggage all the way up to the appartment. The appartment is good, look exactly as shown on the pictures

Convenient location but somewhat awkward
Decent place, no frills, Kind of loud outside a night with drunks roaming the area while screaming their lungs out. Staircase is way too narrow if you have luggage and no lift.

Best beach location
Found this awesome burger place to go to, the little beach bars were had amazing sangria, the room was close to an atm and it wasn't a super far walk from the night life. There were lots and lots of stairs to walk up like most places in Barcelona there wasn't an elevator

Delightful
Wonderfully compact layout, clean and modest furnishings, but far less costly than a downtown hotel room of the same size. The location (once you find the place) is ideal! So close to the beach, and there's a bus stop at the street corner that connects you to several areas for touring the city (or you can just walk). All basic amenities and little 'mom-&-pop' bars/eateries within a few steps of the apartment. Loved going out to get fresh bread, fruits and veggies in the morning, and all the neighbourhood folks visiting each other...

Close to the Beach but not what I expected.
Upon arriving the apartments in Barcelona it was a bit skeptical because it was dark and our taxi could not drive down our street. When entering in the room it smelled of sewage and was extremely tiny. If you are traveling with more than two adults privacy is not happening. The staff was very nice when receiving the keys for the apartment. We did have to wait close to an hour for them to arrive though. The floors are tile and it was a little cold for a winter trip. The blankets were thin and scratchy. There was not a coffee pot but there were pots and a microwave/toaster. Also, there was no such thing as HOT shower. The water became cold very quickly and with 4 people that was a pain. Everything was tiny (apartment, entry, and stairwell) and it was a bit noisy on the streets. The apartment did well for the location and if all you wanted to do was sleep and eat breakfast. It is not so good for relaxing in. If I ever go back to Barcelona I might stay here again if it is just me and my husband. However, it is a walk to center where the good restaurants are and the main attraction about 15+ mins.

Service was great, everyone was really helpful and considarate. The location is brilliant- 1 min to the beach ( easy to find, next to Shooting Star), 1 min to bus stop ( 4 buses (day and night) drive every 5-10 min to all directions to all major sights or hubs (e.g. Placa Catalunya, Pl. Espanya, La Rambla, Via Laietana, etc.) even hop on-hop off buses are very close, 8-10 min to subway). Plenty of shops, even supermarkets, pharmacies, restorans, caffeys, etc. are in the closest proximity. Small kitchen in the apartment is handy and has everything for basic meal activities.

First, the hotel had no sign outside so we weren't sure we were at the right place. No one was there to let us in once we figured out it was the correct place and we had to call around to get in touch with the owner. After waiting around for an hour, he let us in and had us pay for everything up front. Which ended up being about 100 dollars more than what Hotels.com quoted me. If your hotel is in euro, pay in euro and avoid the 3% VISA convertion rate commission. Additionally, there are tenents that live in the building and they were up all hours of the night having people in and out of their apartments and yelling from the terrace. Overall, it was noisy at night, convenient to the beach and food, no amenities and if you run out of toilet paper, good luck finding someone to help you....also the water in the shower was hot for all of two minutes and then cold. Spend a little extra and stay at a real hotel or find a descent apartment rental that has good reviews. Best for young people without children.

Decent apartment, so-so neighborhood.
My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 3 nights this September. The apartment itself has everything you'd need for a few days (fridge, microwave, etc). The tv was confusing to figure out, but once we got it going we were able to get a few channels in English and a pretty fun music video channel. The apartment also has one of the most powerful Air Conditioners I have ever felt, which was a welcome relief after walking around all day. The neighborhood itself isn't too great, however. The street is dark, kind of rough, and has an old tenement vibe. Most of the residents are elderly folks who sit on their balconies all day. There are also plenty of tourists walking around, so it's a strange contrast. The restaurants we tried were overpriced, geared towards tourists, and not that great (think giant posters in the windows of the dishes they offer). The beach was and plaza along the beach were always packed. I was disappointed, since the reason we stayed there was to be close to the beach and not in the tourist zone. If we go back to Barcelona, we will definitely stay in a different neighborhood.

Fin lille lejlighed tæt på strand og byliv. Hårde senge. I betragtning af opholdets længde, kunne det være dejligt med flere håndklæder. Vi havde fået forståelse af, der ville være en tagterrasse , men fandt ingen. Alt i alt fint ophold .

Heel mooi appartement op een goede locatie. Grote supermarkt en een echte bakker op 5 minuten loopafstand. Het strand is ook erg dichtbij. Balkon was erg smal, maar er is ook een dakterras aanwezig. Het appartement zat op de 4e verdieping. Het enige wat wij gemist hebben is een bijzettafeltjes. Bij de andere appartementen zagen wij dat deze wel aanwezig was.

Pésimo lugar, el apartamento estaba en un 5to piso el edificio no cuenta con ascensor las gradas son angostas y nunca se nos indico este detalle. Avisamos con anticipación la hora a la que llegaríamos al apartamento para chek in y aun así, exigen que se llame 30 minutos antes de llegar. Se nos indico un lugar para dejar el equipaje el ultimo día y el lugar no existe. El servicio al cliente es pésimo.

Die Lage war perfekt, der Empfang war hervorragend organisiert, die Küchenausstattung war gut, das Raumangebot auch. Störend war ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch aus dem Abfluss der Dusche. Uns fehlten Zusatzdecken - die vorhandenen waren recht dünn und in der Nacht mussten wir heizen.

J ai aimé le calme de l établissement et j ai trouvé le studio tres agréable. La cuisine est totalement équipée, il manquerait P-e juste un four. L appartement est très très bien situé. L immeuble est un peu vieillot et les escaliers exigus mais s était vraiment une chouette expérience. Je retournerai sans soucis dans cet appartement lors de mon prochain séjour

Studio très bien placé , le jeune homme qui nous a reçu est très gentil et parle très bien le français. Studio propre et bien équipé. Par contre aucune chaîne française, à la télévision. Pas de volet roulant juste des rideaux occultant donc le jour passe un peu. Studio conforme la photo

Ideální apartmán na léto
Pro letní dovolenou v Barceloně je to ideální místo. Blízkost pláže je velké plus. Stejně tak i dobře zařízený apartmán, kde najdete vše potřebné. Co by bylo dobré změnit, je zejména úklid častěji než 1x týdně (zejména výměna ručníků) a doplnění vybavení o slunečník na pláž.

Et godt valg til prisen.
Lejligheden passer fint til enlige eller par, der bare har brug for et sted at sove og som gerne vil kunne stå for nogle af måltiderne selv. Der er rent og pænt, når man ankommer (og trappeopgangen bliver rengjort hver dag) - der er, hvad der grundlæggende er brug for, og det fungerer fint. Den lille balkon åbner op til livet uden for. Og beliggenheden er fantastisk - i et hyggeligt og roligt kvarter og med kun et par hundrede meter til vandet.

Чудо апартаменты!
Летали отдыхать в Барселону с подругой, остановили свой выбор на этих апартаментах. Все очень понравилось. Фото полностью соответствуют действительности. В номере две односпальные кровати, их можно при желании сдвинуть в одну, так же есть диван большой, телевизор, полноценная кухня (с дополнительными ништяками в виде тостера, бутербродницы и даже блендера), в номере есть хороший фен (у людей живших над нами их было даже два:). Очень хороший балкон. Так же в номере есть кондиционер, который также работает на обогрев, так что тут будет комфортно и в жару и в холод. Больше всего понравилось местополжение, район очень хороший, до пляжа идти минут пять, если не меньше. Рядом много супермаркетов и всяких едален и кофеен неплохих. Так же вроде прям возле дома останавливается какой то автобус, но мы ни разу на нем не ездили, потому что ходили всегда пешком, довольно близко ко всяким красивым районам и достопримечательностям. Есть депозит у них, 300 евро за все время проживание, они его возвращают без проблем конечно если все нормально в номере, плюс мы договорились и с нас взяли не 300, а 150 евро, так что если попросить думаю без проблем можно уменьшить этот депозит, люди там добрые)) В общем все на уровне, отдыхом останетесь довольны если заселитесь сюда! А и кстати на сайте написано что еще 10 евро за вай фай, но по факту что у нас что у соседей не просили деньги за него, все бесплатно.

Adicionales por llegar más tarde de las 20:00 (Estabamos allí a las 20:15) y como información si es más tarde de las 00:00, aumenta 50 Eur. ese precio. Wifi no incluida, pese a que se nos dio gratuita.

Rigtig god beliggenhed man skal dog være opmærksom på smalt opgang og lejligheden er på 4. Sal. Der er desuden supermarked og cafe på gaden også har du få meter til stranden. Bussen til centrum stopper næsten foran døren. Metrostation på gåafstand.

Very close to the beach. Nice and quiet. Small apartment and some furniture and kitschen tools were missing. Very hard beds and thin pillows. AC working on 25% and safety box did not work, but we're fixed after several calls in about 1 day. The Tv was never fixed. I would recommend the owner to buy some more pillows, complete set of chairs and kitchen equipment. Overall a very nice place to stay and there were walking distance to all nessesary places. I would recommend this place.

Ok apartment for 2 persons. Well equipped kitchen. Room did not have a bedsofa as stated. No reception or bed blankets. Only bed sheets. Checkin took over 1 hour before personell arrived. Card reader out of order leading to another visit from the land lord several hours later. Not so smooth...

Barceloneta er bare fedt sted
Super lejlighed omend det er på 5. sal med meget smalle trapper. Eneste minus, og det kan hverken udlejer eller hotels.com gøre noget ved, er de helt ufattelig mange sælgere på stranden. Mindst 2 hver 5. minut. Håber myndighederne gør noget ved problemet, også for de sælgernes skyld

luktade ofräscht i lägenheten och var smutsigt. Vi bytte boende efter 1natt. Blev tvungna att betala 50euro vid ankomst i kontanter-inget vi fått info om i förväg. Bra område och fin lägenhet, kan dock ej rekomendera pga lukt och renlighet.

c'è di meglio...
allora, premettiamo che la spesa per sole due notti doveva essere 114euro, qui si sono aggiunti 40 euro di pulizie!! assurdo....due giorni solamente, in cui abbiamo usufruito della casa solo x dormire e basta! la casa sembra essere stata ristrutturata da poco. qualcuno prima di noi ha rotto qualche maniglia e in più c'è un phone x asciugarsi i capelli difettoso, in quanto ha il cavo tagliato, bruciato e si rischia di prendere qualche scossa. I 5 piani da fare sono davvero pesanti, servono per smaltire i pasti, però sono davvero pesanti. la nota davvero NEGATIVA è che loro abbassano il prezzo della camera per fartela acquistare, ma poi ti ritrovi un servizio per le pulizie che ti costa un occhio della testa, il tutto per una casa sarà si e no 20/25 mq. Aggiungo anche che per avere il wifi, bisogna pagare altri 10 euro, pessimi davvero....

Very close to the beach. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get the key. WiFi isn't free. Air-conditioning was acting weird last day. Kitchenette is very handy. Apartment was tidy and is more than enough for city-tripping. Supermarket, bars, beach, public transportation are nearby. Recommended!
