Acron waterfront resort in Baga is close by Baga beach and other places which is very convenient. However, for a 4-star hotel, it doesn't have the comfort it should come with. The rooms are of a 3-star or a lower property. Especially the bed was the worst. Their spring bed completely sunk in as you sit or sleep. The management tried to fix the issue but the only solution is to replace the mattress which would was not possible (of course!). There are many other similar hotels or better at the rate we paid where we would prefer to stay in the future.

I really enjoyed this property. It has nice atmosphere, very appropriate for beacjy vibe that we are looking for in Goa. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The manager Owen was able to help us find a reliable taxi driver that was very helpful to pick us up at 2am in the morning. Would recommend this hotel again.

Second time here and there will be more to come!
This was my second time at the Acron Waterfront Hotel with my last visit on October 2019, just before the pandemic. Being back there last week reminded me how wonderful it is waking up to that very unique view with easy access to the very lively Baga Beach. The Resort Manager Amberish Gad and his wonderfully friendly and caring team make every effort to ensure that you are treated like Royalty and as a solo traveler, I was very appreciate of their generous, caring attention. As with my last visit, I found the restaurant situation, menu choices and quality of food to be superb and was very happy to eat in this very special atmosphere every evening with top class service. I want to thank Amberish and his team for a wonderful repeat visit and will look forward to being back at the Acron again before too long.

It was the second time we stayed at this property so knew what to expect. Friendly staff who always wanted to keep guests comfortable as possible. Good selection of breakfast which some items were made freshly to your taste. Ambrish, one of the managers there was always making sure the guests were enjoying their stay.

Beautiful surroundings and very nice pool. The location is excellent as well. Only negative feedback would be the cleanliness of the room was not great. We also noticed mold in the glass bottles for serving water had mold at the bottom. While those weren't ideal, it was overall a pleasant stay.

The staff is amaizng. Trully. The hotel location is nice and the hotel look impressive. There are two problem with this hotel: 1. Crows (but it is not the hotel fault :) ) 2. Is monopoly with taxi's. So same ride to the airport should cost 600-800 (more around 800). They take 1800. If bill is needed request before the drive. When i left they weren't clear about the payment. I got to the airport and had to give all of my cash to the driver which caused me almost to lose my flight. Shame. It was relexing there until that part.

Stay in the real Goa
I recently returned home from a wonderful 5 days stay at Acron Waterfront Resort. This was my third visit to Baga having previously chosen a very nice hotel further inland but now wanting something closer to the beach. I couldn't have selected a better option. This is such a charming boutique hotel with all the luxuries that I enjoyed before but it's amazing location puts you right in the center of the real Goa with the local fisherman operating right across from the hotel. Combined with a view of the river and ocean, it's a feast for the eyes and you really don't need to go anywhere else! The beach is just a few minutes walk away if you need to see more life but I found myself eating in the wonderful restaurant every evening (preceded by a free happy hour) with a menu that will appeal to all tastes. I know I have put on weight but it was certainly worth it - the food is delicious. Finally, the Acron team couldn't be more attentive and I felt pampered and indulged throughout the visit. A special thank you to Rohit who was particularly friendly and attentive.

A North Goan Haven
The Acron Waterfront is a beautifully landscaped property overlooking the Baga River. The spacious rooms are very comfortable and the infinity pool is wonderful. It is so interesting to watch the boats and fishermen with their nets across the river from the Acron. The staff is friendly, attentive and anxious to ensure the comfort and happiness of guests. The daily Happy Hour from 7 - 8 pm is a pleasant interlude before dinner. The restaurant is excellent; we particularly enjoyed the Goan fish and prawn curries. The breakfast buffet is extensive, offering both Indian and international dishes. It is also possible to order breakfast items from the menu and we found everything to be delicious. The staff is helpful and able to answer questions about ingredients and preparation. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Acron.

Lovely small hotel in a great location. Near enough to busier Calangute and Baga Beach but away from the hustle and bustle. Peaceful and quiet. Happy hour between 7-8 where local drinks are free . Excellent food at prices that are competitive with local area. One criticism would be lack of service at pool area - had to go and find staff to bring drinks etc to pool.

Acron Waterfront Resort is a very small hotel on the river front. The address says it's on the Baga side but my cabbie says that it's on the Arpora side! Check in was quick and efficient but I wasn't informed about the free wifi till I overheard another guest talking about it with the receptionist the next day. The reception had a small collection of English fiction books which is welcome if you are travelling alone. Happy hour is between 7pm and 8pm everyday where alcohol is totally free, It is a self service bar so don't expect to be served. You can enjoy your drink at the river front while listening to live music on Saturdays. The room and bathroom are a fairly decent size. The rooms are quite well kept. All the crockery was from Good Earth which was a surprise to me. Breakfast was decent. The cheese platter was a big let down with a few slices of uninteresting cheese laid out. They have a separate menu you can order from which is part of the inclusive buffet which again I found out only the next day!! The breakfast stretches to 1 pm so if you are a late riser this is a bonus. I had a grouse with the swimming pool in the water was very heavily clorinated and unpleasant. The hotel is quite centrally located so getting around isn't an issue. Reception is very helpful calling for cabs and suggesting places.

Relaxing stay
The people at Acron are lovely. I was always greeted with a smile and help was always available. Baga is a quieter area than some, essentially a fishing village. It’s lovely to look out across the river to the sea and watch the fisherman on Baga beach, which is walking distance, but a free shuttle is provided at any time. Also, free cocktail between 8-7pm. Beds are really comfortable.

A very Pleasant stay!
We stayed at the Acron waterfront from 21st-24thsept, ‘18. We had wanted to stay here for a while but somehow it never worked out. This time we did manage to and we are glad we did. Located perfectly for those seeking to explore the famous areas of goa. The rooms were clean and the service was great. One small complaint was attended to immediately and apologised for and rectified. A sign of a proactive management team. Oasim and Suman in the restaurant were completely on the ball and attentive. Oasim specially served us on two occasions and have to give him a big thumbs up for ensuring we were taken care of. A lady, part of the management, who we very briefly interacted at Breakfast was exceptional. Though sadly don’t recall her name. Raju, guy around the pool area was always smiling and attentive to a couple of requests we made.. for a matchbox!!! Each interaction point counts to enhance an experience. These guys get it! All the best to the team at a acron. 👍

Wonderful experience...can't wait to return!
The Acron Waterfront Resort has it all -- great location, super helpful staff, lovely restaurant, and well kept grounds and facilities. We had a wonderful time staying here for 6 nights. The location is perfect because it's only a 10 - 15 minute walk to Baga beach and yet it's quiet and peaceful if you prefer to hang out by the pool. It's easy to arrange day trips to South Goa and other beaches around Goa. Everyone at the Acron is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would come back to this hotel again and again! .

Love this place but needs small improvements
Love the property, location, staff friendliness, quality of service, cost, included a la cart breakfast, free drinks at happy hour 7-8pm, incredible food, and boutique feel. The WiFi is bad and cuts out or works very slow. They probably need more bandwidth or an updated speed. In 2018 you just need this. If they also replaced the tubs and regrouted the bathroom, i would have NO complaints. Overall I really liked this place and would still highly recommend it.

Great staff, food and facilities
We spent five nights at this resort. It was a convenient walk to Baga Beach - close enough but also far enough to find peace. The infinity pool was lovely - overlooking the river. The breakfast was massive, with local and Western offerings, and really delicious coffee. Each evening was free cocktails from 700-8:00 with live music. We ate dinner there three nights - all very impressive and priced fairly. Free chocolate covered cashews was a highlight for me. The staff was excellent. Funny, attentive, kind and we felt really pampered when we were there. All staff took time to explain traditions, special foods, and to answer our inquiries as well as learn more about us. While I don't recommend the cashew liquor, for example, I am very glad I tried it! Naninda (maybe) was a guest service specialist that recommended a very fun party cruise for us. And we were easily able to rent a scooter as well as scehdule transportation from the resort.

Wonderful luxury sanctuary in great location
This resort is a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful hotel located perfectly on both the river and sea between Baga & Anjuna beaches. The staff are incredible - genuinely lovely, considerate, thoughtful and constant seeking ways to help us with anything at all. The location allows you both to venture out to all the nearby beaches, markets, spice plantations - while also critically - allowing you to escape the noisy bars and clubs to your own private sanctuary. Lovely infinity pool, heated jacuzzi & spa were all great and regularly used. The food is unbelievable and we varied between the incredible buffet and al la carte menu. Three further brilliant - and totally unexpected - benefits is that breakfast (a brilliant buffet of fruit, healthy muesli, juices, etc and all the normal cooked breakfast options) continues until 1pm - and so allows a nice lie in, kip by the pool and then basically having lunch at around 12 included in the room. The second is the 'happy hour' from 7pm where all drinks are completely complimentary. Finally, there is live local music each night (Traditional Rajastani music and dancing, acoustic guitar players, etc). It's brilliant. Best holiday I've ever had.

Great hotel and great staff.
All staff members were so nice and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel restaurant had great food. The pool was very clean and nice. Great hotel overall with a great view of the city.

fantastic staff provide the perfect stay
We stayed for a week after a long a fairly frenetic tour of northern India and Nepal.We chose the hotel because we wanted to relax and enjoy the sun,but we got much more.The food is of a really high standard and remarkably well priced even for Goa.Breakfast are from 8-100pm with menu changes every day and certainly set you up for the day. The infinity pool looks out over the river and was quiet while we were there and there are plenty of attentive but not intrusive staff if needed.The evening entertainment was a bonus and was not intrusive. The staff are very well trained and managed and are clearly proud of the quality of the place

We enjoyed our stay at the Acron Waterfront Resort. Free drinks were served between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM daily. We had refloxogy massages that were excellent. The chefs prepared our favorite meals upon request several times. The views from the hotel of fishermen doing their fishing were ideal for videographers and we made several excellent short videos as did several guests who used their cell phones. This was our second visit in two years to this beautiful hotel and we plan to return. We recommend this hotel to tourists who are looking for a small hotel to offers all amenities.
