We woke up to construction going in right next door to our room. At 7:30am we woke up to banging noises all morning. I could not relax on my balcony and drink coffee in the morning. I paid full price and the managers are not returning my emails. Terrible experience

A great place to stay with kids over 18. The drinks and food were reasonable priced and good! Shout out to Oscar the bartender at the pool. He was so friendly and took great care of our family!

Los Lagos exceeded our expectations. I thought it was a great value for what we paid. While the lobby appeared slightly dated, our room was newly renovated. Beds were comfortable and our patio had a beautiful view of Arenal. The hot springs were amazing and my kids LOVED the water slides. Food at the restaurant was great. Staff were all very friendly and housekeeping left cute towel animals for our girls in the room. Grounds were immaculate. I would recommend this property to anyone.

My stay at Los Lagos could not have been anymore magical! The resort is beautiful, so many hidden places to explore. I saw so many birds, lizards, wild boars and other critters during my walks. Loved spending my mornings drinking coffee on my rooms balcony, hearing the jungle slowly wake up Every single person working at the hotel from the wait staff to housekeeping were nothing short of amazing and attentive. Depending on where your room is situated, may be a bit of a hike from the pools/restaraunt, definitely got all my steps in during this trip. But, there is transportation that is super easy to easy to arrange if you’re not up for the walk. Did not have a lackluster meal or drink for the entirety of my 8-day stay. I had so much fun exploring all their ceviche options and also discovered the beauty of a guaro sour. I am so glad I chose to spend my time in Arenal at Los Lagos and would certainly love to come back sometime for another stay!

Our stay at Los Lagos was wonderful. We travelled as a family with our 9 year old son. He really liked the waterslides and the pool. Also enjoyed discovering all the thermal pools throughout the property. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The resort is built in the hillside so be prepared for some steep walks. However there is a shuttle that runs through the property so no worries there. The rooms were large and very clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be that the bathroom was very dark. My favourite part of the day was sitting on the patio outside the room in the morning listening to and watching all the birds! So peaceful and relaxing. The food at the hotel was excellent. The menu selections were plentiful, something for everyone and prices were reasonable. We had a wonderful time at this resort and would definitely stay here again.
