It's a quirky place to stay. It is a walk-up, meaning no elevator and narrow stairs to bring your luggage up, and they have no office or check-in counter. You just look around the cafe on the 3rd floor and ask if anyone works there (that's where someone who works there will be). They don't want you to wear shoes on any of the floors; just in the stairwell.
Check-out time is 10:30am, which is early, but seems to be typical of many places in Arambol. You can ask for later check-out, but only on the morning of check-out, based on availability.
The breakfast was nice, and was prepared by a chef who put care into what he made.
My room was basic and small, but clean and good for a night's stay. Very close to the beach and you're already in town, so it's a good location for sure.
