Good location as it is the nearest good hotel from golden temple but the front desk guys needs to change their attitude towards guests. There was a constant drilling noise in the hotel throughout the day and my wall was vibrating. Even had to call front desk multiple times for house keeping.

Needs trained staff.
Hotel is good, only a short walk from the Golden temple. Housekeeping staff have no idea how to serve guests. They need training. I told the frantic destiny and the response was "yes I know." Took three times before they cleaned the floor in our room.

5min walk from golden temple, clean, convenient
We’ve staid at the hotel for 4 nights. The rooms are small but big enough for two people. The hotel is clean. During our entire stay the hotel was building windows into an entire side of the building. Construction was noisy and dusty and one night lasted past 10pm. We’ve had a talk to Managment the next day and after a rather long debate got some money reimbursed for the inconvenience. The breakfast is very savory. Location location location, that’s what’s worth he money. Day time staff is super friendly and helpful and speaks English. Night time staff is friendly but English skills are poor. I will stay here again since it is a 5min walk from the temple and close to all markets as well as brothers dabha - a great local restaurant 🙏 Thank you

Suggestions and improvements
I think the rooms need to be refreshed, floor need to be wet mopped due to dust. I would also recommend frosting the showers shoulder high and removing the moldy & dirty shower pull down. Otherwise the stay was pleasant enough and staff helpful and nice.

Just be vary of staff.
Hotel is located so well. Facility is great but just be vary of staff and the directions they give - we had issues with our taxi booked by the hotel, quote was 800 rupees and had to pay 1200 rupees to the driver at the airport. Also taxi does not get to the hotel, a riskaw or walk is necessary which is an additional cost, time and money wise.

Behavior of staff was very nice. Location of the Hotel is excellent. Cleanliness is moderate.Service quality is not good. In bathroom water accumulates. Hotel rates are high as compared to comfort provided.

Disappointing hotel
Very disappointing stay at Hotel City Park Hotel considering the amazing reviews I have read. The hotel is NOT clean. Rude staff. We tried to change room and they refused. Poor breakfast also. Go to Ramada hotel instead. It is in the center of town!

Conveniently located just steps away from the walking promenade where the J bagh and Golden Temple are located. Breakfast is not worth your time or money. No meat in this town. All veg. Horrible.

We had paid extra for an extra bed but the room was too small to add one. We had a really early train back to Delhi and couldn't even avail of the breakfast so ended up being really expensive for us

Fooled by the reviews.
We planned to stay for 2 nights on our trip from Delhi to Amritsar. We checked in at night around 12am as our train was delayed. But our experience that night made us check out first thing in the morning. On arrival, we were surprised to get such a small room for a family of 3. The bed for the third person was a blanket on the floor!!! There was a strong smell of vomit coming from the a/c. We did not use the a/c thereafter. The room was in a state of mess. Since we were tired from our travels, we did not have the strength to move out at night. I have clicked photographs which I will post later. I have checked into Holiday Inn. The hotel staff was not ready to accept our complaint and refund the money for the next day stay. But I have no problem with that but they should own up to it and actually clean the hotel. A big Zero rating from my side.

The hotel does not have a accessibility by own vehicle due to the renovation work going on in Amritsar. The hotel manager was not forthcoming and proactive in providing advice for the same. There is no parking at the hotel currently. Before proceeding on the trip, I enquired from the Hotel and confirmed that parking is available. This was a big concern.

Very good hotel with good staff.
Very good hotel for the given tariff wroth breakfast. Very helpful staff! Mainly meant for local business people. Although Location is not meant for families on holiday to nearby hill stations, we were just that, since we had a car with us.

A modern gem at the heart of Amritsar
The City Park is in the middle of the old town, a 5 min walk from the Golden Temple -the main Amritsar attraction- and a 4 min walk from the Jallianwallah Bagh, another top destination and part of the Heritage Walk. The hotel is new. I had a Deluxe room with a beautiful, clean, spacious super modern bathroom, A/C that worked at all times and a queen size bed with good, clean linen. There is a security guard at the door 24 hrs. The reception staff is helpful if you engage them. I can highly recommend this hotel and will be back. The main international chain hotels are all outside the old town which makes it harder to get to the Golden Temple. I could just walk there at different times of the day and evening to see it in different light. I travelled alone and felt safe at this hotel.

Hotel City Park review - great location
I have stayed at Hotel City Park twice in the past year. I would recommend the hotel as it has been fairly recently built also for its location and closeness to the golden temple. In addition, compared to other hotels in India I would give it 4 out of 5 as it is quite modern and has a flat screen TV and fridge etc. The wifi works very well in the lobby and the speeds are good. However, like some other indian hotels the bed sheets weren't the cleanest I've seen. Also, the shower in late afternoon can be a bit cooler. The hotel is a 3 minute walk to the golden temple and just around the corner from McDonald's and Subway, so it is ideal for westerners.

hotel was well located. it's a new hotel so everything was good. but there was no fridge in room as it was promised though the room service was good. but room service closes at 11PM. rooms were clean and good. overall it was good hotel i wont mind to stay there again.

Location is good... Prompt service... Problem was: AC is centrally locked from the reception, so every time you want it to be switched on you have to ask the reception guys to do it... Secondly there was water seeping out of the bathing enclosure which was a little discomfort. Overall the hotel is good for stay, its quite new, the kind of central location it has is great. Mine was a day trip, majorly to see Atari border, jaliawala bagh and golden temple... It was well accomplished.

This looks like tyhha newish,modern hotel a short walk from the Golden Temple. However everything else is a big let down. The staff are curt,almost grumpy. There was no fridge in the room,though listed in the room contents and a space for it too. There was no kettle and the toiletries provided were just soap and shampoo sachets. For the price it was very poor value and service. The towels were not replaced but collected on the second day.I had to call twice to get them. No one seemed to eat in their restaurant

Good business hotel close to the Golden Temple
Hotel City Park reminds more of a business hotel, and a quiet and comfortable one at that. Rooms are relatively big and comfortable, quiet, and clean. Staff is doing an ok job, nothing to rave nor to complain about. The location is great, about 5 minutes walk from the Golden Temple. No alcohol are served on the premises due to the proximity of the Golden Temple.

Stayed with family for 3 days in March 2015 & it was really a comfortable one. The hotel staff was really courteous & helpful. Even though my room dint had fridge & I asked for it, I was provided the same. I asked for kitchen services to get the milk hot for my daughter & the staff helped me everytime I asked for it. Will surely stay in the same hotel in future too.

The hotel charged me almost double of what i consumed as room service. When enquired, staff claimed as it a calculation mistake in food bills. Strange, all the bills were incorrect!!

The best part is its close to Golden temple. There was no warm water to take bath, no bottled water in room, the towels were totally worn out. It's overpriced for facilities it offers.

Good place to stay.
Cleanliness was good though the towels were old. Service was good and the food was also good.Location was in the old part of the city but was close to the Golden Temple and Jallianwala bagh. THat was very convenient. The trip to Waga was also easily arranged from there. The staff was polite and attentive.

Basic hotel close to the Golden Temple.
Amritsar is a city of dirt, so surroundings are terrible. On the other hand this hotel is close to the Golden Temple and is very clean. Breakfast not good and we didn't try other meals. No housekeeping, so wet towels all through the stay. For trip to the Pak-India border we had to go to Grand Hotel.

アムリトサルから徒歩圏内でとても立地が良いです。旧市街の雑踏から一本横道に入るので、タクシーの移動でも不自由を感じませんでした。ホテルの設備は最新のものではないですが、スタッフの対応等はとても良かったです。
