The property and the experience is amazing. The hotel/ fort palace is a retrofit for electricity and plumbing. The balance is well done but some convenience is reduced. The heavy duty padlock on our Room is very secure. Enjoyed the high tea. Visit the “Step-Well” below the palace... be careful.

This is a magical place of such wonderous and intricate design that one can spend a day just exploring and marvelling at the features and the views. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. The main bedroom had desks and a sitting area with table, a fridge and very effective AC as well as a couple of ceiling fans. A very well equipped and maintained room The room had a shady balcony with trees around and a small table and chairs on it to sit in private and relax with a newspaper in the morning. Staff everywhere were fantastic, frienly, polite, helpfull. Pools were clean, restaurant food was excellent. Will come again.

Staying at a historic place is an experience by itself. Rooms are not your typical hotel rooms. We stayed at Krishna Mahal, which they upgraded us from what we had orginally booked. It had an amazing view from one of its two balconies. Friendly and courteous staff made our stay very memorable. Love to come back again in Winter or Spring.
