Kuah is the main town on the island. There are no beaches, but there are lots of duty-free stores, seafood restaurants and some wonderful historical attractions. Eagle Square is home to the iconic Langkawi giant eagle statue and Lagenda Langkawi Dalam Taman, a folklore-themed ‘garden museum’, is nearby.
