Tying the knot - in a shark cage

Those who consider weddings overseas perhaps think of a nice
holiday in Hawaii and ceremony on the beach. Others might want to
travel to Greece or warm countries in Europe to combine both a
lovely ceremony and pleasant getaway. However, those who want to
wed in a more edgy place may take inspiration from one American
couple.
April Pignataro and Michael Curry tied the knot in a cage
dropped into shark-infested waters at Atlantis Marine World in
Riverhead, New York, the Huffington Post recently reported. In
keeping with the nuptial theme, the bride wore a white wetsuit
while the groom chose black.
Tourists or newlyweds planning a holiday in the United States
may consider taking their love for adventure to the extreme by
marrying under the water. However, for those who want to simply
experience shark infested waters without making a lifelong
commitment, there are plenty of opportunities to do so.
For instance, those planning a holiday in Hawaii might want to
head to Oahu, where they have the option of taking a boat ride out
into the Pacific Ocean to spot a shark or two from the deck, or
jump into a secure underwater cage to get a closer look at the
creatures below.
