Planning a holiday in Dubai? Those who enjoy the finer things in
life will certainly be intrigued by a new hotel planned in this
wondrous area.
By the close of 2010, a hotel designed by Elisabetta Gucci,
daughter to fashion designer Paolo Gucci, will open in Dubai,
Reuters reports. It is anticipated that the new hotel will help
attract high-end clients to the area and help raise local hotel
revenues that reportedly hit their lowest point in 2009.
The Gucci hotel will not be the first with a designer name and
attitude in the emirate. In April of this year, the Armani hotel
was opened, giving those with a taste for fashion and opulence one
more option for lodging.
Dubail's planned Gucci hotel will likely embody Elisabetta's
sensibility, which represents her background in Tuscan culture and
showcases "an emotional revival of the six senses."
Visitors interested in visiting the high-end Gucci hotel will
probably have to wait until the close of the year. News sources
report that it is expected to open sometime at the end of 2010.
