Indian travelers who are trying to narrow down their options of vacation destinations should check out the United States Tour Operators Association's (USTOA) first annual list of the "World's Best" holiday hot spots. In the recently revealed rankings, Italy emerged victorious among a number of other international locations.
Those who are considering Rome holidays for their next vacation are in luck, as Italy received the top spot for architecture, romance, walking, wine and culinary experiences, as well as honors for its arts, culture and shopping. For more cultural delight, France was cited by 40 percent of the survey's respondents.
For adventure travelers, the USTOA has voted Costa Rica and New Zealand as its top destinations. There are plenty of adrenaline-boosting activities in these countries, including ziplining, caving, kayaking and much more.
The best entertainment can be found in London, New York and Rio de Janeiro, according to the list, which are all known for their thriving theater districts. New York is also renowned for its shopping opportunities, ranking number one in that category in front of Hong Kong.
