In today's modern society, more individuals are using social media
to stay in touch with one another and learn about new trends and
events. Those taking cheap flights to Delhi are no exception, as
one couple recently demonstrated when they opted to take travel
advice from Facebook friends during their journey.
Devapriya Roy and Saurav Jha chose to quit their jobs and travel
across India with all their possessions in a backpack, living off
only 50,000 Rupees for a year, the Indian Express reports. The
couple have since written a book about their experiences, which
were dictated by fans and friends on Facebook.
With no set plans in mind, the couple chose to listen to advice
from followers hundreds or miles away, the news provider reveals.
Their subsequent book, "The Heat and Dust Project," is set to be
published by Harper Collins.
Travelers planning an epic holiday in India might want to
consider taking travel advice from the internet - but can opt for
trusted authorities in order to make sure that their itinerary runs
as smoothly and safely as possible.
