The Banyan Tree Macau recently announced that it had added a floating stage to its list of wedding amenities. This lavishly decorated platform literally floats on top of the hotel's Cabana Pool, allowing the happy couple to plan a unique ceremony on top of the water. As the deck surrounding the pool holds more than 200 people, this one-of-a-kind experience is suitable for weddings of almost any size.
Couples who wish to go a more traditional route with their wedding ceremonies and receptions may be interested working with one of the resort's planners to put together a special celebration or select from one of the many luxury package options. Though each of the four wedding packages include overnight accommodations, an in-room bottle of Champagne, two hours of photography at the reception and a traditional Chinese tea among other things, they are all unique in their own ways and can be tailored for a more personal experience.
The first package that the Banyan Tree Macau offers is the Romance Wedding. This simple package offers a small menu featuring traditional Chinese delicacies such as suckling pig, braised whole conpoy with sea crab claws, double-boiled whelk soup and braised whole abalone. A step up from that is the Happiness Wedding Package, which comes with a suite upgrade and four hours of limousine service, then the Romance Package, which adds on two extra hours in the limo and a 90-minute spa treatment for tow. Finally, the Intimate Wedding, which includes a larger menu and a pre-wedding dinner in the resort's on-site restaurant, Belon.
