Good value for money
The hotel was very clean and had everything I needed. Service was a bit slow, but I suspect the staff were quite new to the job and I think this will improve as they become more familiar with the job. There were rectification works going on at the hotel to iron out problems, however, information about when and where these would be taking place was provided in the rooms and the times of noisy works were considerate to guests. As the hotel was considerably cheaper than those on Orchard Road, and travel by taxi is cheap, the savings made were well worth being a little out of the way for. That said, Robertson Quay also has good restaurants of its own.

good choice
location is great, near to river. u can walk to clarke quay, 10 minute waling to chinatown. 10 minutes waliking to subway (but not good if u come from airport, better taxi). i like the design of the hotel, the room. some problem: not for me, but for other people long waiting for check out. good espresso in the illy caffe inside the hotel. so i think price is not so hight (for singapore standard) and it was a good choice for me
