Family-oriented atmosphere
Khao Lak Seaview Resort and Spa welcomes many families, particularly from Scandanavia and Germany. The pools are crystal clear with an unusual elevated (non-heated) jacuzzi pool. It has an excellent family atmosphere. My room was meticulously clean with lots of nice amneities - shower and oversize, deep tub. Inexpensive lunch specials were available at the beach restaurant, while the morning breakfast buffet, included in the room price, was excellent. The lobby staff was extremely friendly and helpful and all shops and services in Khao Lak were an easy 5 minute walk away. While the beaches offer great walking, there is little or no coral off shore to allow for snorkeling to see tropical fish. I would stay here again.
