Melia Kuala Lumpur
The hotel was centrally located with easy access to the monorail and taxis. The hotel looks great from the outside and the lobby is nice but the rooms are not as good. Old furniture, lack of warm water which happened everyday. The breakfast selection wasn’t bad but they always seem to be short staffed.

Good value and location
The Melia is not the most modern hotel in KL. But it is conveniently located oposite a major shopping centre (Times Square) and next to a rapid transit station. Food is good and there is always the shopping centre across the street. There is a major computer market just behind the hotel that stocks a huge range of computers and accessories. The power supply to my laptop burned out and I was able to replace ii in minutes. The swimming pool is great for the hot weather. Overall good value hotel
