"The hotel is immaculate, the restaurant and bar cafe food wonderful, the majority of staff extremely helpful and accommodating and the ambiance of the place is extremely calm and restful.
They do need to look at the frustrating pool/spa area … you only get free access with a delux room or above ( they did upgrade me for free at checkin due to my Expedia membership but didn’t tell me, so i thought i had to pay the substantial fee for a while) and you have to book a slot for only 1hr 30mins…then pay for further hours.
The car park is quite a walk and needs signs to walk to the buildings, they do have a gof cart service & friendly driver called Adam who gave us tour of the ground’s & history of the place …reception didn’t tell us about this though, so it took a while until we spotted him.
If breakfast isn’t included it is expensive for what it is. The other meals were fantastic though.
There is no tv area in the hotel though and this would have been helpful for me as my husband worked in our room for a few hours so not being able to watch Roland Garros or sit by the pool was frustrating.
Overall a wonderful break …great venue to be outside of Paris but easily accessible and fantastic to visit Versailles"
