We enjoyed our stay at The Grand Rodd Hotel. The staff were friendly, the hotel was quiet and clean, and the beds were supper comfortable.

We had never stayed at The Rodd Grand before. It has been around a long time and, despite improvements (ongoing), it is showing its age. The room was nice and clean though. As it was a one-night stay, we didn't try out the facilities other than the restaurant which was very good with enthusiastic staff.

Even though there were renovations at this property they did not make our stay less enjoyable. Wonderful, accommodating staff.

Construction began above our room at 8 am (banging and sliding) but otherwise everything was great. Friendly staff, clean. May I suggest you provide coffee to guests in your lobby in the am? Thank you for having us!

Terrible hotel. Unbelievably noisy. The room was so dirty that my socks were black by the time I went to bed. Hair all over the bathtub and sink. The dining room was also bad. Food not terrible but everything else about it was awful.

The lobby area is beautiful but the rooms definitely need some upgrading. The pool and sauna were great! Our view was terrible and the heat was not working. The staff were so helpful and kind though, and transferred us to another room immediately.

I can’t sleep because of music from the pub downstairs. I called the front desk and they said it would be turned down at 11 and said “sorry.” It got better for a bit but now loud again.

Had an issue when we first got there, we booked a 2 queen room but the room was a single king. They fixed it right away. Our 2nd night stay was interrupted by a very loud neighbouring room and they rectified it by moving us once again to a quieter area! Great staff with everyone with had interaction with (room attendants, front desk and dining room) Hotel was under renovations but we could hardly tell, can’t wait to come back and see the upgrades!

This was a great stay for me. Room was a good size, clean, beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a little small but ok. Restaurant in the hotel was very good. Liked that stores were close by, walkable. Staff were very nice. Would stay again for sure.

It is centrally located in the town. Easy walking! We were happy with the whole experience and would certainly use this facility again! A nice restaurant, as well. No complaints! Disappointed that their pool was not working, but that is no one’s fault and hopefully will get repaired.

We were a group of 8 for an event held at the hotel. Everything was hood in the hotel. They are doing renovations but it didn’t interfere with anything. The beds are so comfortable

Not impressed
Ask to change our room as we were over the ventilation fan. Front desk said I upgraded you to a king to which I replied that’s what we booked. She said no it’s not. Hotel was doing their roof which it would of been useful information as we would of booked elsewhere. They started at 7:30 . Room was clean and comfortable.

Pleasant and Great Location in Yarmouth
Nice place to stay in Yarmouth. Service was excellent, we had a couple small issues at first, but they took care of it immediately. Super location if you are on vacation. Lots to see, walkable from the hotel.

The room we had is fully updated which was a pleasant surprise. I stayed here regularly 30 years ago and wasn’t sure what the condition would be but it is definitely up to par! The best part?! The beds!!!! Beautyrest are the best, most comfortable beds and I had the best sleep !
