Good hotel and SPAPosted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Breakfast and comfy room.
Cons: Restaurant staff are not very friendly. My booking package included breakfast but for some reason they did not get that communication!
Location: Cotswolds beech and park
I visited with my family 2 children and 2 adults. The room and SPA area are very clean. Swimming pool can be crowded as outside people come to use the leisure facilities.

Great facilitiesPosted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Friendliness of staff, both front desk and restaurant. Terrifically large rooms and spotless bathroom.
Cons: We felt a little overwhelmed by the coachloads of guests in the restaurant. It felt a bit like a nursing home at breakfast and dinner time.
An excellent hotel for pre-wedding preparations. The front desk agent was very professional when I advised the Expedia rate actually did include breakfast. The signage from the main road and roundabout was limited (we were looking for a big Marriott sign!) which resulted in us getting lost in our hire car and having to ask directions.

Not as good as previous stay!Posted 22-Jul-2014
Pros: Breakfast; location
Cons: Air conditioning/ heating.
Location: Went to Newbury races; have used before for Cheltenham and Cotswolds visit.
We have stayed here before and found everything excellent. This time we were given a very tired room (252) with a clapped out air conditioning unit (record temperatures this weekend) so came away disappointed. The breakfast was excellent as before and at the price we paid it was overall still not bad. If we had paid more, I would have asked for the better standard of rooms we have had before.

Modern well situated in SwindonPosted 07-Jul-2014
Pros: Modern and clean
Cons: See above
Unfortunately I had a very poor sleep since two red lights on the smoke alarm on the ceiling above the bed flashed continuously all night. I did report it to a manager in the morning and he apologised but I felt some adjustment should have been made to our bill.

As expected for the moneyPosted 30-Jun-2014
Cons: They charge for everything, no sweeteners but I guess this is the times we now live in. Be prepared to checkout with some sort of room bill.
Location: Great location in Swindon. Close to Swindon's Old Town which is a vibrant place to be at night on the weekends. Wood street is full of bars/resturants
You know what you get for the price you pay, you always have cheaper options but the location is key for this hotel, great location and expected level of service. The rooms are fully equipped and very clean with the comfort you would expect for this level hotel.

Comfortable and convenient locationPosted 01-Jun-2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds and pillows.
Cons: Cleanliness of changing facilities.
Location: Convenient for Oxford and SW England.
Welcoming and helpful reception staff, a comfortable room and convenient for our visit. Quite child friendly - we were with our 3 year old grandson. Breakfast was good, with a wide choice, especially fresh fruit. The swimming pool was adequate for our weekend needs, but the changing facilities could have been cleaner. They need more regular inspection.
