Ideal base for swindon,Cotswolds or local areaPosted 15-Apr-2014
Pros: Facilities , food and staff
Cons: Bar prices, but not unusual for hotels
Location: Swindon close, leisure facilities good and a number of restaurants/ cinema / bowling for evening ideas..for family as only bar or pool.
Staff very helpfully, friendly and efficient without being to much. Felt that they want our custom and although busy hotel nothing was a problem

Everything was brilliant. This is the second time we have stayed. Amazing hotel with wonderful staff. Brilliant with children - free milk, cookies and an activity pack were very much appreciated. Such a reasonable price too.

Facilities of this Hotel are Amazing!Posted 07-Apr-2014
Pros: Pool/Workout Facilities and Breakfast Buffet
Cons: The small beds that you would expect to be a higher quality for this chain of hotel.
Location: We stayed here between our Bath, UK visit and returning to Heathrow Airport. We did eat dinner in Swindon at Roosters Piri Piri, which was delicious!
The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I booked a room that was suppose to include the breakfast buffet, but it was an Expedia error and supposedly the room wasn't suppose to include it. But when I presented my confirmation the hotel honored it and we received breakfast. The breakfast was quite delicious and there was a wide variety of options (eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, toast, pastries/muffins, cheese & meat, cereal/porridge, fresh fruit & vegetables, several different juices). The facilities of this hotel were amazing! There is an indoor heated pool and quite comfortably warm. There is also a hot tub and sauna that we did not use. The changing room and showers for the pool and workout facility were quite lovely. Lockers with a quid deposit are available and even a machine that nearly dries your swimming suit. The workout facilities appeared to be quite lovely although we did not use them during our stay. The only part I didn't care for was that you had to walk through the dining facility to get to the pool/workout facility and there were windows from the dining facility that looked into the pool. But I have seen this several times in UK hotels, so perhaps this is "normal". The rooms were comfortable and clean. We stayed in a two double bed room, which the beds were smaller than we are accustomed to, but they were fine for one night. I would definitely stay at this hotel again given the opportunity, especially if we could get the same incredible rate.

Worth the tripPosted 03-Mar-2014
Pros: Comforable bed+++ . Peaceful un disturbed nights sleep. Friendly helpful staff.
Cons: Would be nice if there was enough milk in the room to make enough drinks for number of occupants.
Location: Close to m4 motorway. Ideal business commute.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. A good nights rest in a very comfortable bed with added comfort of a mattress topper. The room was very clean and looked newly refurbished. The lady at reception was most welcoming on arrival and very helpful during our stay. We made use of the spa facilities which was again a pleasant experience with no complaints . Levels of cleanliness here were again excellent despite it being busy as it was the weekend. We ate at CHATS restaurant. The only quibble I have was having to order one plate of food twice as it did not materialise the first time.... despite only two tables being occupied! However the food was of a high standard and worth the wait!

Wedding receptionPosted 03-Mar-2014
Pros: The cleanliness of the hotel generally and the comfort of the rooms and beds
Cons: The pricing in the restaurant and bar definitely need appraising.
Location: We were only there for two nights for the purpose of attending a wedding so had no time to explore the surrounding facilities.
Stayed at the hotel for two nights to attend a wedding reception. The reception was organised by the hotel and they did a very good job with it, the roast beef served at the table was really succulent and the serving staff very attentive. However I thought that the hotel meal prices were on the high side and the drink prices were definitely OTT. £4.50 for a glass of wine far too much. Nevertheless we enjoyed the experience of the hotel the rooms were comfortable and cosy and the beds excellent, the bathroom linen immaculately clean and refreshing.
