We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Lorne House. Our room was luxurious, and the bedding was unbelievably comfortable. The thoughtful touches included an assortment of teas and coffees (including decaf), regular and oat milk, plus biscuits right in our room, made it feel extra special. The full breakfast is absolutely incredible, and able to skip lunch, only needed dinner each day. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable, with a lovely living room/common area and an inviting outdoor patio. The décor is stunning, and it’s clear the hosts haven’t skimped on a single detail. Mum Liz Dad Bob and Olivia as well as (Eliza/Harry who had their first child Mathilda, this week) was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions on where to visit nearby and how to get there. Note: When we arrived, we discovered we had accidentally booked our 5 night stay for the following year, 2027. Harry couldn’t have been more helpful and immediately found a way to accommodate us. We would highly recommend Lorne House and look forward to returning!

I felt like visiting family. Lorne House and the hosts Bob and Liz have really created that aura 'home away from home'. The cozy and warm room, the welcoming and personal service, the fresh and delicious breakfast, the small but informative chats, and much more. It was an amazing experience. This is the second time I’ve stayed at Lorne House but my first time since I was a teenager. Bob was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. I’d go as far as to say this is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in with a lovely old feel and enormous comfy bed. My partner and I were pleased to come back after a long day in Bath to a luxurious bathroom which was the most well equipped I’ve seen from a B&B. The breakfast was lovely and our check in and out was easy. The parking on site is tight but so convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will make another visit to the area just to stay at Lorne House again. Thank you!😃
